About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, but I’ve owned Cavaliers for 15 years. I’ve cared for multiple dogs (and cats) at one time. I prefer to care for dogs in your home. I can also care for fish, chickens and do general housekeeping. I reside in El Dorado, but for the last year, I have been substitute teaching in the Wichita metro area. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule at this point. I’m able to do potty runs during the day provided the distance allows it. I prefer to care for pets in my client’s home so that the dogs are used to their normal environment and routine. If needed, I can care for a single small-medium sized dog in my home, although the dog must be comfortable being on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard. Also, I am not a smoker or drinker.

About: I lost my girl in late 2024. Pet sitting for others has really helped my heart to heal. I have always had a dog in my life but I am not yet ready to commit to my next soulmate. I work from home full-time and miss having a shadow with me. Comfortable with meds and needles, as needed. Comfortable with elderly dogs. I work full time from home, so rarely would your pet be alone. I treat your dog like I treated my own. If I run an errand, your dog runs an errand with me (as long as you approve). We might take a walk, we might Netflix and chill, we might swim in the summer, it just depends what your dog “tells” me they wanna do! We have two guinea pigs (who can be separated from other animals if needed). It’s just my husband and I and our teen daughter, who is generally the one our guest dogs sleep with! Fully fenced yard available to use with few steps. Upstairs and downstairs of house but not required to go downstairs if they don’t want to. Crate available, if they are trained or need it. I rarely see the need to use it but require crate trained dogs in case I need it. Common reasons would be during grocery delivery (to prevent escapes while door maybe open), unexpected visitors (if your dog would be uncomfortable, etc.), and such.

About: I grew up on a small town farm and was raised around horses, dogs, cats, chickens, etc. until I graduated high school. I was responsible for caring for the farm animals, so I have lots of experience with different animals and pets, including cats and dogs (of all sizes and ages). I recently graduated with a master degree in biomedical science and am looking for some extra work while I figure out what I’d like to do. I currently have four pets that I absolutely adore— a Labradoodle, German Shepherd, dachshund, and a fat, orange cat! Suffice it to say they are spoiled beyond belief. I am usually available for dog walking duties anytime from 7:30 AM-10 AM or in the evenings, and I can make stops to take care of dogs/cats anytime during the day. If house-sitting is required, details will need to be arranged prior to the stay. While I am newer to Rover, I have tons of pet care experience and believe each pet (even the troublemaker) deserves top-tier care and companionship while their humans aren’t home. He is still a puppy and, at times, a stinker, and they are very patient and wonderful with him! We get daily text pictures and updates so we can see him playing outside, inside, even on their bed, etc! It makes taking a family vacation easy! :) Last time Wilson stayed with them, he seemed to miss their family and was so excited when we took him back again.
