Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. About: I have done rescue work for dogs. I actually have two dogs of my own one. I saved from the Humane Society and one I saved for a rescue who is going to be put to sleep for no reason. I am currently not working so I would be home all of the time with them. They would get all the attention in the world. About: This is the first time I have been on rover but I have pet sit for others in my past (about a year and a half ago) for over 20 dogs and I have never received a complaint. I love animals and I believe that they feel emotions to and get lonely when their family has to go places without them so I try to treat all of them with genuine care. About: I usually pet sit for family and friends but I have decided to extend my pet sitting services to others that need it. I don’t have any speciality training but I do know how to love and care for dogs. My dog is 11 years old and is the sweetest dog with the best temperament - so I know I did something right! I currently work approximately 6 hours per day Monday through Friday. I am available on weekends and holidays. I can often accommodate short notice and same day bookings when my schedule allows. Your dogs comfort and care are important to me, and I will do my best to provide a flexible and reliable boarding experience. My home has a large, fully fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs to run, play, and relax in the sun. Fresh water is always available, and I have a small doggy door that can be used throughout the day for easy access to the yard. A crate is also available if your dog is crate-trained or needs a quiet space to rest. I aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment where your dog can feel comfortable!
