“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. I've helped family and friends with pets over the years, and I also volunteered at a mill-dog rescue when I lived in Colorado - giving meds, cleaning, and socializing. I will make sure your fur-baby receives the best care!! I work full-time M-F (normal day-time hours) but can work from home whenever I want. I live close to work and, therefore, can drive home for check-ins/walks if I do need to be at my office. I have a lot of availability and flexibility on weekends. I have a small, fenced yard in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It's extra secure because my small dog would, otherwise, be able to sneak out of it. It's also partially shaded, but they would not need to be outside unless they preferred to be!

About: Experienced Pet Caretaker: From Puppies' Playtime to Senior Pill Prowess! I have cared for many puppies, as well as our Seniors. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I run my own massage business for in home massage. I am only working three days a week for a few hours at a time. Taking care of the pets is really easy with my schedule! I can carve out as much time as they might need in my day. I aim to keep there routine as normal as possible. I am very flexible in making sure I can do that! I personally feed my own dogs two times per day (morning and night). I have crated my dogs at night for many years, but that is because they love their space. I don't mind having the animals out and about if that is what they prefer! I love to take my own animals on several walks per day, especially with apartment living! We can do anything from short walks to long hikes. I also have had to give my own dogs medications and am no stranger to senior care.

Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. I do mostly gig work and am home and available for most of the day. I am available to take care of pets all day almost everyday and enjoy taking care of and meeting new pets. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.

“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. We wholeheartedly recommend Sam and would have no reservations about using his services again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have owned dogs most of my life (variety of breeds). I currently have a mini-Pomeranian and a Golden Retriever, who love making new friends! I've helped family and friends with pets over the years, and I also volunteered at a mill-dog rescue when I lived in Colorado - giving meds, cleaning, and socializing. I will make sure your fur-baby receives the best care!! I work full-time M-F (normal day-time hours) but can work from home whenever I want. I live close to work and, therefore, can drive home for check-ins/walks if I do need to be at my office. I have a lot of availability and flexibility on weekends. I have a small, fenced yard in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It's extra secure because my small dog would, otherwise, be able to sneak out of it. It's also partially shaded, but they would not need to be outside unless they preferred to be!

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends’ dogs since I was a child. I’ve also trained my own. We love dogs of all breeds! I work from home with a flexible schedule and my dog is with me all day. Kennel trained is preferred in case I do leave the house. My own dog, Olivia, loves to play with dogs of all sizes! She has a fenced in area to get her zoomies out or play fetch. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel trained and often in there if I leave the house for long periods. I have a camera on in this room so I can peep at her! I would provide this same love and care for your pet. We do have a cat, Stormi, who couldn’t care less what is going on in her house. She stays in her own zone!
About: I’ve taken care of my family and friends fur babies for a while, i’ve also baby sat kids as well as house sit and took care of animals while doing so! My goal is to make sure your fur-babies are happy, healthy and well taken care of while you’re at work or out of town! whatever the case may be I just want to make sure they’re loved! Due to not being able to have kids my pets are like kids to me and I treat everyone’s ’kids’ the same way i do mine, with lots of love!! I’ve done a lot of rescue work in the past with animals aswell as fostered several dogs! I also run my own business making dog and cat bandanas were i donate 10% of all profits to a pet rescue organization 🤎 I’m currently a stay at home dog mom, making taking care of everyone else’s pets extremely easy and very doable! I’m extremely flexible with my time and want to make sure your pets are well taken care of! I care for pets in my home or outside of my home the same way i do mine! Lots of love is given if they allow it, frequent updates will be given even if not asked. I want to make sure everyone can see how their fur-babies are doing and receive as many updates as possible as if it were me this is what i would want! I also do pet photography on the side and will get atleast 1-2 professional photos from my camera to give you during the stay - this is on top of the many photos i’ll send from my phone!
“AAA+ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! This is the second time Meghan and her family kept our golden retriever, Wilson. We LOVE the care and attention he gets with them. He is still a puppy and, at times, a stinker, and they are very patient and wonderful with him! We get daily text pictures and updates so we can see him playing outside, inside, even on their bed, etc! It makes taking a family vacation easy! :) Last time Wilson stayed with them, he seemed to miss their family and was so excited when we took him back again. A huge thank you to Meghan and her fam for helping us out with our fur baby!!! Trust me, you will love this Dog Vacay family!”
