“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. About: Experienced Pet Caretaker: From Puppies' Playtime to Senior Pill Prowess! I have cared for many puppies, as well as our Seniors. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I run my own massage business for in home massage. I am only working three days a week for a few hours at a time. Taking care of the pets is really easy with my schedule! I can carve out as much time as they might need in my day. I aim to keep there routine as normal as possible. I am very flexible in making sure I can do that! I personally feed my own dogs two times per day (morning and night). I have crated my dogs at night for many years, but that is because they love their space. I don't mind having the animals out and about if that is what they prefer! I love to take my own animals on several walks per day, especially with apartment living! We can do anything from short walks to long hikes. I also have had to give my own dogs medications and am no stranger to senior care.

About: I have always had dogs in my life. Growing up, I had two chocolate labs, and I now have my own three furry friends. My boyfriend and I consider our dogs to be a part of the family and treat them as such! They go everywhere we do, and we love taking them on new adventures! I work in the healthcare field, and my sister is an animal control officer so I have lots of knowledge when it comes to caring for your furry ones!! I work full time on night as a RN, but my boyfriend is home during that time! Someone will always be around with the pups:) I have a nice open home and a big fenced in backyard! There are dog beds in almost every room of the house. When I am home, the dogs get outside time about every two hours or whenever they tell me they need to go outside. If I am not home, they get let out about every four hours. There is no lack of love in our home and attention is constant for the pups.
About: We are home full time and offer frequent potty breaks, belly rubs, snuggles and treats. Our pets roam freely and enjoy snuggles on the furniture, sunbathing, full time food or lots of play. New note: we currently have two toddlers living in our home. We’d appreciate only pets who will get along well with young children. Thank you! My husband and I are home full time. Our times away from the house are short when we pet sit. Accommodating frequent potty breaks or leg stretches in our large backyard are no problem! For drop in visits, we are happy to water plants, retrieve mail or packages, etc, if requested in advance. Our pets are our family. We love them and usually travel with our own. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up training hunting dogs. I got my own dog about 5 years ago and she’s super energetic so I’m well versed in walking and play time with all dogs. I can also give medication if necessary. I’m very easy going and ready to love on those doggies and create a good experience for them and you! I’m a medical school student, currently on break so I have a bit of free time on my hands. I would love to help you and your babies! About: I've been taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I grew up around dogs and have yet to meet one that doesn't like me. Through the years, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats; from young, crazy pups to old, sick dogs and from ornery mostly outdoor cats to snuggly kitties that want to use me as a bed. My other job is remote, so my schedule is very flexible for whatever your pet may need. Weekends or weekdays doesn't make much of a difference. I'm also a morning person, so early morning walks, feedings, etc are perfectly fine! For boarding, I have one pet friendly roommate and dog. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.

“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. We wholeheartedly recommend Sam and would have no reservations about using his services again!”
“I cannot say this from the rooftops loud enough, but Kate was amazing! From the moment she got our dog Abbey, I received photos and updates throughout our trip. She was able to spot check a few things at our house when she picked up our dog and even checked on the cat without us asking. We could tell Kate cared a lot about our dog and was very considerate with the time to pick up our dog. We are grateful that our dog loved her and her pets so much, she slept like a rock after their visit! This makes our next stay out of town a breeze, because we know who we are going back to!”

About: From the time I was a little girl growing up in the country, pets and especially dogs have been a part of my life. I’m finally to a point in my life I can expand the love I have for pets and help others at the same time. What a great combo. I have one lab in my home that has my heart and love when other “friends” come over to play. I also understand the anxiety that goes with leaving a pet. Snapping pics and a text can help ease those feelings. And don’t worry, there’s an extra bed for naps and night time if your baby is used to sleeping with someone. The backyard is fenced and a dog door in place. I’ve also had experience with administering medications. I’m newly retired and also have a side gig baking business so I have spare time and availability. My lab is your classic laid back, loves everyone dog. New friends welcome! I have a fenced in yard with a dog door and willing to train if needed. They catch on so quick! My pets are like my kids, they get attention annd we play during the day and then at night, they can sleep where they want. We are still working on training for some fun tricks too. Most of all, make lots of time for pets, belly rubs and talking to each other.
“We have tried boarding our dog in a kennel before and it was obvious he did not have a good time. When we went to pick him up from Janet's, he was so happy and I could tell he had a so much fun! It was such a great experience and a relief to know our baby was safe and happy while we were away. Janet was very easy to work with and provided updates and photos for us.”
