“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! My family and I do have fur babies of our own and we take training and care seriously. We believe in not only nourishing their bodies, but their minds and spirits as well! Enrichment toys and activities are in abundance. I work from home and have ample time to care for your fur kiddos. We have a large fenced backyard for play, during the summer months we have water activities for the doggos that like to play, if you allow. About: I've been taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I grew up around dogs and have yet to meet one that doesn't like me. Through the years, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats; from young, crazy pups to old, sick dogs and from ornery mostly outdoor cats to snuggly kitties that want to use me as a bed. My other job is remote, so my schedule is very flexible for whatever your pet may need. Weekends or weekdays doesn't make much of a difference. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.
