About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, but I’ve owned Cavaliers for 15 years. I’ve cared for multiple dogs (and cats) at one time. I prefer to care for dogs in your home. I can also care for fish, chickens and do general housekeeping. I reside in El Dorado, but for the last year, I have been substitute teaching in the Wichita metro area. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule at this point. I’m able to do potty runs during the day provided the distance allows it. I prefer to care for pets in my client’s home so that the dogs are used to their normal environment and routine. If needed, I can care for a single small-medium sized dog in my home, although the dog must be comfortable being on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard. Also, I am not a smoker or drinker.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Back in 2014, I had two ferrets, and they were such a joy—full of energy and personality! Since 2019, I’ve had my long-haired Dachshund, Chestnut, who’s been my constant companion. Taking care of him has taught me a lot about the needs of small dogs, from grooming to keeping up with their energy. I’ve also helped out friends by pet-sitting over the years. Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. Bear says he would go back anytime and I can heartily recommend Veronica to care for beloved pets.”

About: I have been a vet tech for 10 years. It is my passion. I had a disabled boxer so I am familiar with need to help disabled pets. I currently share custody of an energetic border collie. My 14 year old daughter loves to assist me when caring for your pet, please let me know if that is okay. I do work full time. If the pet is staying at your house, time permitting, I will check on them before work, lunch, and spend time after work with them. I will treat every pet as if they are mine. I normally feed twice a day and go outside as often as possible; weather permitting of course. If anything seems off, I have experience and a clinic I can take them too if needed.

About: I lost my girl in late 2024. Pet sitting for others has really helped my heart to heal. I have always had a dog in my life but I am not yet ready to commit to my next soulmate. I work from home full-time and miss having a shadow with me. Comfortable with meds and needles, as needed. Comfortable with elderly dogs. I work full time from home, so rarely would your pet be alone. I treat your dog like I treated my own. If I run an errand, your dog runs an errand with me (as long as you approve). We might take a walk, we might Netflix and chill, we might swim in the summer, it just depends what your dog “tells” me they wanna do! We have two guinea pigs (who can be separated from other animals if needed). It’s just my husband and I and our teen daughter, who is generally the one our guest dogs sleep with! Fully fenced yard available to use with few steps. Upstairs and downstairs of house but not required to go downstairs if they don’t want to. Crate available, if they are trained or need it. I rarely see the need to use it but require crate trained dogs in case I need it. Common reasons would be during grocery delivery (to prevent escapes while door maybe open), unexpected visitors (if your dog would be uncomfortable, etc.), and such.

I’ve been dog sitting for years and I have been working at Sydney’s pet resort as a supervisor for 4 years now! About: I have spent the last 15 years taking care of friends and family cats and dogs, I also have 2 years of experience working with animals in a professional setting. I currently have a flexible work from home job, so my availability right now is pretty open to suit your needs! I do request at least 2 days notice prior to taking on a job. I currently have a fenced in yard, which will make caring for your pet in my home super easy and stimulating. I am able to watch pets at your home as well, if that is what you are most comfortable with.
About: I've had a cat in my life since the day I was born, my parents still own the one we got when I was 13 (he's now 19 and going strong). I also walked a neighbour's dog from 12 to 21 (a lhasa apso) and have experience walking other dogs in a range of sizes, from papillon up to a 100+lb show golden retriever. Currently living the housewife life so schedule is flexible as heck. My own animals have a flexible feeding schedule in that they don't like food to be late, but if it's early they are thrilled. If your dog is crate trained, I'm willing and able to continue that as needed. Open to whatever walk length is needed for the pet in caring for. Willing to walk cats too if your kitty is leash trained (one of mine is and loves his outside time).
About: I’ve taken care of animals such as fish, cats, dogs birds and even a turtle in the backyard for a while before! I love to work with animals once we know each other and be a new friend to them and relate my experiences with them and learn new ones I work remote so any of these options work as long as you have reliable internet and Wi-Fi connections at your place. That is a total necessity. I do not have pets where I live. I do not have the room. Most animals do best in their own environment they are familiar with in my experiences.
