Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. I was out of the country for around two weeks and worried about my cat because she tends to be a little shy and scared of new people and typically i only know how to deal with her. Michelle was perfect !! letting my cat slowly warm up to her presence visit by visit. She would send photos every visit and that was very reassuring, she would play with my cat and feed her and cuddle with gigi. I would get photos of gigi playing, running, and cuddling which is not her norm for when she meets new people so i was very happy with that.There wasn’t a moment where I was worried about my gigi. Michelle is so nice and compassionate and sweet and it shows because my gigi warmed up to her, she responds to messages and updates me where i felt reassured and comfortable, I could not be happier that i found her to take care of my cat and i was honestly lucky to have her as my pet sitter.I would definitely choose her again over anyone if I ever had to leave my cat again but in general with any animal because she actually cares.”

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! About: I have done drop in visits, farm sitting, dog grooming, equine care, and taken care of many animals. I have at least 10 references. Love all the animals and will treat them with love and respect. I own a mobile dog grooming business so can make my own schedule. I have my farm animals but I have help from family to care for mine when I’m needed elsewhere. I prefer to let the animals be in their own home as they seem less stressed knowing they will be where there family will be coming back to. About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 and I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I currently have four dogs and one cat of my own, so I’ve always been around animals. I work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I get to work with all kinds of dogs. I help with playgroups, feeding, medications, and making sure everyone is safe and doing well. I’m also comfortable with cats, including cats that are a little shy or like to keep to themselves. I recently graduated high school and just started at JCCC. He helped train our German Shepherd from a puppy and grew up with several cats, so he’s comfortable around both dogs and cats. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! About: I have three dogs, two wonderful twin golden retrievers that are 5 years old. They are my whole world and so are my sister and brother’s dogs/cats! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats most of my life! Friends and family rely on me for great pet sitting, cuddles, tons of playtime! I’m free for most of the summer besides helping out at my grandmas office or running errands when asked! Taking adventures with my own pup most of the time! In my home I have a cat and a German shepherd puppy! They typically eat at 5 am, go outside after 20-30 minutes after meal time. I will cuddle with both of them on the couch and play fetch with my pup until I do daily activities such as cleaning, etc. I take breaks to let my pup outside and take her on a walk if it’s a decent temperature outside. I also have a car that has pet covers on the seat because of my fur baby who loves car rides. I will ask what your pets schedule looks like such as feeding times, and bathroom breaks.

I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: I’ve had pets since, forever! When I was younger 3 of our dogs had puppies at the same time & then we had 27 dogs to care for! I personally had a yorkie for 8 years. I have so much patience and love for animals and they are much more than animals & pets to me. As much as they are here for us, we reciprocate that love with care, respect, responsibility, structure, attention, and so much more. I’ve felt that my dog was like a child to me, and I know that’s the same for others so there’s so much responsibility in caring for others animals and is no small thing when it comes to looking after them. I moved from Seattle to Chicago a few months ago and have been looking for a side job that feeds my soul and fills my heart. And my friend is doing this job and recommended it to me.
