“This wonderful family took our dog in on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I felt really good about leaving him there. They have two darling sweet little girls that loved on him and other dogs for him to play with. Sara and Jason were very attentive to his needs and sent me pictures of him relaxing on the couch and outside running and playing. I was so appreciative of them taking him on such short notice, let alone over Christmas. When we picked him up the whole family came to the door to greet us. I could tell Milo had a fantastic time and got lots of love and exercise. I will definitely use them again!”
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends’ dogs since I was a child. I’ve also trained my own. We love dogs of all breeds! I work from home with a flexible schedule and my dog is with me all day. Kennel trained is preferred in case I do leave the house. My own dog, Olivia, loves to play with dogs of all sizes! She has a fenced in area to get her zoomies out or play fetch. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel trained and often in there if I leave the house for long periods. I have a camera on in this room so I can peep at her! I would provide this same love and care for your pet. We do have a cat, Stormi, who couldn’t care less what is going on in her house. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. About: I currently work as a zookeeper and have years of wild and domestic animal experience. Working with wild animals means I have a much deeper understanding of animal husbandry, psychology, and behavior that allows me to provide better care for your pet! I'm especially comfortable around and handling large dogs due to the nature of my job. Professionally, I have cared for a variety of wild animals including large cats like lions, tigers, and leopards, dolphins, seals and sea lions, and several canid species. That being said, I'm able to provide a deeper level of personalized care. I currently work 5 days a week, usually Wednesday-Sunday. On my weekend, I'm home all day. On my workdays, I'm able to leave during lunch to provide dogs with potty breaks. There is a dog park within walking distance of my apartment that I bring my dogs to every morning and evening. I do also have a dog potty set up inside my apartment just in case a dog can't wait for me to get home. I provide this because I personally wouldn't make myself hold it, so I would never force a dog to do the same. I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.

About: I have been a vet tech for 10 years. It is my passion. I had a disabled boxer so I am familiar with need to help disabled pets. I currently share custody of an energetic border collie. My 14 year old daughter loves to assist me when caring for your pet, please let me know if that is okay. I do work full time. About: I've been an animal lover since I was four when my first dog came into my life :) I started pet sitting for family and friends when I was around ten, and it's been something I've loved doing ever since. I've cared for all types of pets - from puppies to senior dogs, cats of all personalities, turtles, fish, and even some farm animals! I have no problem giving medications - I've given insulin injections to diabetic dogs many times and understand how important it is to stick to medication schedules. I understand how pets thrive on their familiar routines and environment. I'll make sure to maintain their schedule and send you updates with plenty of photos while you're away :) I know firsthand that there’s nothing better than seeing your pets happy and relaxed when you can't be with them! I work remotely and choose my own hours, so my schedule is quite flexible! I’m a bit of a night owl naturally, so I especially love taking fur babies for evening walks, but any time I get to care for an animal is a great time :) I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, turtles, chickens, and everything in between for over ten years now, so I have experience handling almost every situation that could come about :) I’ve administered insulin via injection to dogs, fed both cats and dogs pills, cleaned up after them if there are any accidents, placed them in (and taken them out of) crates gently and calmly, and generally whatever was necessary to ensure that every pet in my care is happy and well taken care of.

About: I’ve grown up with and taken care of dogs of all kinds! Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, play and check up on their pets! I’m currently in school studying, which gives me a very flexible daytime schedule. I’m available for walks throughout the day and can accommodate a variety of timing needs, including mornings, afternoons and evenings! I have always grown up with animals but currently do not have any pets of my own. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, am reliable, attentive and happy to make sure your pets get plenty of exercise, attention and care while you’re away

“This wonderful family took our dog in on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I felt really good about leaving him there. They have two darling sweet little girls that loved on him and other dogs for him to play with. Sara and Jason were very attentive to his needs and sent me pictures of him relaxing on the couch and outside running and playing. I was so appreciative of them taking him on such short notice, let alone over Christmas. When we picked him up the whole family came to the door to greet us. I could tell Milo had a fantastic time and got lots of love and exercise. I will definitely use them again!”
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and friends’ dogs since I was a child. I’ve also trained my own. We love dogs of all breeds! I work from home with a flexible schedule and my dog is with me all day. Kennel trained is preferred in case I do leave the house. My own dog, Olivia, loves to play with dogs of all sizes! She has a fenced in area to get her zoomies out or play fetch. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel trained and often in there if I leave the house for long periods. I have a camera on in this room so I can peep at her! I would provide this same love and care for your pet. We do have a cat, Stormi, who couldn’t care less what is going on in her house. She stays in her own zone!
