“Lindsay took such good care of our pup! The updates and pictures of her enjoying her time with the family were so sweet too. Athena had a great time and we’d definitely board with Lindsay again! Thank you!”

“This review is long overdue. Stephanie was excellent to work with and half the price of boarding our dog anywhere else. She sent us pictures and updates throughout the stay and was in constant contact. We moved out of the area so we are unable to board with Stephanie anymore but defiantly would if we still lived in the area. She helped us out in a couple last minute situations. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could.”

“Excellent! We highly recommend Tori she was reliable, she sent great photos and updates, also gave us a few polaroids and our dog was happy and relaxed when we got home. We will definitely book her again.”

“Jessica was great! We had a meet and greet a couple weeks before I was leaving so our dogs could meet and get to know each other. Drop off and pickup was simple and she sent pictures while I was gone to let me know they were all having a fun time. I would highly recommend Jessica and hope she is available for my next vacation.”

About: I have three dogs, two wonderful twin golden retrievers that are 5 years old. They are my whole world and so are my sister and brother’s dogs/cats! My sister has been doing rover in KC for over 7 years so it’s been a great way to experience rover and the necessities for all kinds of pets. Additionally, I’ve been a volunteer at Unchained Melodies puppy nursery and KC Pet Project for the last few years <3 I’m currently a post-graduate student preparing for medical school here in a year so I have a lot of time for longer term pups. I’m preparing for work part-time as well in the fall but I have a very open and flexible schedule. I have helped dog sit for years now and of course I’ve taken care of my own dogs since they were just babies. Unfortunately, I’m unable, for the most part, to have animals stay at my house however, I’m open if necessary. I walk and feed my own dogs daily and they take a lot of space so I want them to feel comfortable in their own environment.
About: "If you can look at a dog and not feel vicarious excitement and affection, you must be a cat." ~Terri Guillemets Love dogs (and animals in general, but dogs especially.) I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. In short, if either by choice or necessity you find yourself in need of a caretaker for your 4-legged (or more) companion(s), know that I would be elated for the opportunity and you can be assured that their health and well-being will invariably be at the forefront of my mind in all that I do while they're in my care. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing from you soon. "Lots of people talk to animals.... Not very many listen, though.... That's the problem." ~Benjamin Hoff, The Tao of Pooh

About: I have worked in veterinary Kennels and in shelters. I am also a certified Dog and Cat trainer through Animal Behavior College in 2013. I have been trained in animal first aide. I have a military I.D. so I can also care for military families as well! I come home on my lunch break to let the dogs run in the yard (we NEVER leave the dogs outside on their own for safety from hawks etc). The longest they are alone is 5 hours. Our live revolve around our own dogs so they will feel like one of the family in no time. We have a fenced .75 acre yard that we stay out with them for safety. Older pups will be carried on any stairs to prevent any falls. Kenneling is a part of our home for safety. But if we are home they are out. The dogs have their own room where they kennel that has safety film on the windows so they can benefit from the light but are not tormented by the squirrels in the trees. Cats are kept in their own area as well. I know how important your dog is and I will treat them the way I would want mine treated. With the exception of errands and taking kids to school I am home full time. We treat visitors as one of the pack. Often our visiting pups like to lounge on the couch when not supervised in the yard. I have a fenced yard and dogs are not left outside unattended (especially the little ones). We have a multi layered floor plan so if a dog needs to be alone for a bit we have the ability to do so.

I provide a secure, pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease. I closely follow any routines, training, or specific instructions you provide, so your pet feels right at home. About: I have lifelong, hands on experience caring for animals and specialize in supporting pets through every stage of life. I currently have a puppy (toy Aussiedoodle), so I’m actively experienced in potty training and reinforcing foundational commands like sit, stay, and come with consistency and patience. I also have extensive experience with senior dogs. I cared for my own from age 3 through 17, which gave me a deep understanding of advanced care needs such as medication administration, bathing, mobility support, doggy diaper care, and hand-feeding. I’m comfortable navigating the sensitivities that can come with new people and aging, including moments of discomfort or food related aggression, and always handle pets with a calm, patient approach. I currently care for two dogs and three cats, which keeps me very in tune with different temperaments, routines, and needs. What sets me apart is my ability to read animal behavior, adjust my care style accordingly, and provide steady, patient, and attentive care that helps pets feel safe and loved. My friends and family always call me for pet sitting needs due to my loving and bubbly personality and strong passion and dedication for animals. Pet care fits into my routine very naturally and I genuinely enjoy making time for it. At the moment, I have open availability 7 days a week, which allows me to be flexible and responsive for visits, walks, or other activities. I am currently in the process of interviewing for part-time positions, but I remain committed to prioritizing pet care and can easily accommodate visits before or after work shifts. I’m very flexible and happy to work around what’s best for each pet’s routine. I provide care in a calm, attentive, and safety-focused way that helps pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. When I’m in a client’s home, I always follow their routines closely so pets can stay in their familiar environment with minimal stress. I pay close attention to instructions for feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs, and I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are handled carefully at all times. I also take time to build trust with each pet at their own pace—whether that means a gentle introduction, giving them space if they’re shy, or engaging with play and affection once they’re comfortable. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while keeping owners fully informed and at ease throughout the visit. I also have two dogs of my own if your fur baby is ever needing a friend. 💛

During Covid, I helped my aunt foster 3 rescue beagles as well as caring for her other two dogs. Since then, I have worked at multiple doggy daycare and boarding facilities and have pets of my own! As of right now, some nights I work overnight and I work during the day as a part time kennel technician. Having a flexible schedule for your pets needs works best for me! I am currently only providing drop-in visits which means your pet/s will stay in the comfort and safety of their own home. I always do meet n greets where the pet will be staying.
“Nisa is just great! She walked my dog a couple miles a day and wore him out, just what I wanted! She is very friendly and follows directions very well. She arrived on time and was prompt in responding to texts for scheduling. I highly recommend her!”

“Aubrey was the most understanding, flexible, and patient dog sitter! We loved that she kept our dog inside with her and her dogs, instead of an outdoor building. She treated him like he was one of hers, and that means a lot!”

“Allyssa did great with our fetch loving border collie, and our wiener dog who loves to nap! She kept us updated with AWESOME pictures. Our dogs loved her place just as much as home.”

“She took wonderful care of our dog. Peachy was a little anxious and she handled it very well. Very responsive anytime I asked for an update and sent pictures of peachy after she got settled in. Will definitely book again if I need these services again.”

“Abbie took great care of the dogs. She was accommodating and easy to work with arranging drop off and pick up. I would trust her with your furry family members. They will come home happy and you will feel the same knowing they were well cared for during your trip.”

Gracie and I typically start our day at 8:00AM, but we can receive visitors as early as 7:00. We start the day with breakfast and yard time before the heat comes in. When it starts to cool off in the evening, Gracie and I walk a 3-mile loop from the house to a nearby wooded trail and back. We have plenty of super chewer toys and treats for larger dogs, and a large fenced in back yard with room to run! About: With a lifelong passion for animals, I bring extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently train and compete with my field-line Labrador in hunt test trials, honing my skills in advanced obedience and behavior understanding. As a dedicated student of animal behavior and various training methodologies, I offer more than just pet sitting—I provide enrichment and tailored care to suit each pet's needs. Whether it's managing puppy energy, reinforcing existing training, or understanding complex behaviors- I ensure your pet is engaged, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I work from home M-F and have plenty of time for frequent monitoring, and the ability to give ample airing time and potty breaks. My schedule includes regular breaks outside and daily walks around our acre yard and/or our neighborhood lakes. We have about 21k sqft of back yard of which about 10k is fenced. I own an 18 month black lab that is very playful, yet very gentle with his furry friends and humans, as well as two cats that generally keep to themselves and out of the way.
