About: I am married and have two daughters and a son. They are 12, 8, and 5. I have a wonderful German Shepherd, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and a 20 pound cat named Karen. We love caring for other animals. We have a big yard so there’s plenty of room to run.! I can come to your home or board in ours. We are very active individuals. Both my husband and I are runners. Just let me know if you have anymore questions and I would be more than willing to answer them! We are very flexible with our schedules. My husband works full-time, but I drive for Uber so I can make my own schedule when needed. We try to stay as active as possible and play with pets in the home. I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. In short, if either by choice or necessity you find yourself in need of a caretaker for your 4-legged (or more) companion(s), know that I would be elated for the opportunity and you can be assured that their health and well-being will invariably be at the forefront of my mind in all that I do while they're in my care. About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions-we will respond promptly. I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

About: Hello!! My name is Maisy. I have worked in various different animal related jobs for the last 5 years, I worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility and I currently am a dog trainer. I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. I work in the evenings 4 days a week so I spend the mornings/afternoons out playing with the pups then they take naps in kennels while I’m at work and we play some more when I get home. I also can move my dogs kennels out of the “dog room” and your dog can just stay in there instead of a kennel if they are more comfortable that way. I have 5 dogs that are very active and friendly. I have a fenced in yard the dogs love to run around in and inside we have lots of toys and comfy places to take naps (which will be put up if there are problems). If I’m not at home or at night all dogs will be kenneled for safety.

I am also available for livestock care, with over two decades of experience with horses, cattle and most other hoofstock and flocks. I offer these services full time, so no need to worry about another job conflicting with your pet’s needs while in my care. I am able to devote my schedule to them. For my in home services, I have a yard that is set up with individual fenced areas, as well as having 4.5 acres that will soon be fully fenced in! For those bigger dogs who want to be able to run and stretch their legs more.I have two of my own dogs as well, as company for those who would enjoy a playmate. We do crate all guests for bedtime and meals. This ensures everyone can eat at their own pace, and in a safe environment. Same for bedtime. While we understand that your pet may sleep loose at home, we typically have guests from multiple households. Safety is our #1 priority and we don’t want to risk an issue overnight.

About: I've been working in the dog care industry for at least 10 years! Certified through Animal Behavior College,(abcdt) 2014 and the Council of professional dog trainers (ccpdt) since 2017. I can train your dog or just snuggle them and play with them! I am working towards going full time care taker so that I can build my clientele. About: I’ve been taking care of pets from as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, I currently have 3, whom I love dearly. Meeting new pets and taking care of them make me extremely happy. Dropping in on doggies and cats is my job. I throughly enjoy walking, playing, and taking care of animals. It’s something I look forward to every day. I make sure to clean up after myself after every visit. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a very long time. I own a cockapoo named BaeLee and she is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I now own 2 dogs: Benito and Bernie. Benito is a Rottweiler mix and Bernie is a lab/pitbull. I adopted both from the shelter and have loved my new additions to my family. I take care of my family’s and friend’s dogs all the time from watching them, playing with them, feeding them, and walking them. I am very good with dogs and can be very patient if I need to be. I love sitting down and working on tricks. Having two puppies has taught me the importance of routine and training but also fun! I take care of my pup daily. From the time I wake up until I go to sleep I am always attentive to her needs. Every now and then I’ll take care of my uncles dog throughout the day and take him out every two hours. I am very nice and patient with animals. I love to pet them and play fetch or tug of war. I do not like to touch other’s things when I go to their houses and I respect their rules. I don’t do what I wouldn’t like done in my home to other’s homes.
