Friends and family often ask me to house-sit, feed, entertain, and care for their pets while they are out of town for any amount of time. I have a wide range of experience including kittens, birds, rodents, and large dogs. I currently work part-time/seasonal on a flexible schedule. About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. I can work with any sorts of dogs, small and loud, big and reactive, anything in between. Long or short walks. I currently in between jobs and doing some interviews, so I have plenty of time to help take care of your pet as if they were my own! I have one dog who lives in an apartment, but he is very active and socially. We go on at least one 2ish mile walk per day, but he loves playing fetch or with other dogs at the dog park.

When I worked in dog boarding I was in charge of feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and much more! I have experience working will young and old dogs, I have no problem giving medicine to pets either! Currently my schedule is very flexible. I’m looking to find a part time job and in the mean time, but will continue using Rover to care for pets. I have one dog, a cat, and a lizard that I care for at home. I am willing to go to others house to care for their pets! I walk my dog daily and clean up after my pets, feed them on time.

Like "I fed the dogs and cats" and then the next sentence is "Oh! I will feed myself too!" I have crate trained dogs before and can reinforce that training to ensure that dogs feel safe and secure in their resting area. I like to familiarize myself with their habits. For instance, where does your dog like to go for a walk? How do they exercise? What's their favorite treat and when do they usually get them? Do they like doing a particular activity? This is my client's home and with that it is my client's pet's home. I take that to heart and try to embed these habits into their daily routine so that they can be cared for well and in the way that they know.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats most of my life! Friends and family rely on me for great pet sitting, cuddles, tons of playtime! I’m free for most of the summer besides helping out at my grandmas office or running errands when asked! Taking adventures with my own pup most of the time! In my home I have a cat and a German shepherd puppy! They typically eat at 5 am, go outside after 20-30 minutes after meal time. I will cuddle with both of them on the couch and play fetch with my pup until I do daily activities such as cleaning, etc. I take breaks to let my pup outside and take her on a walk if it’s a decent temperature outside. I also help take care of my grandmas pups as well, bunch of cuddly pups it’s like a dream come true. I work commands with my pup often throughout the day, walking around with a treat bag. I always check for ticks on each dog after they’ve been outside it’s summer! They like to come out more often now. I will always ask of a pets diet regimen, such as their foods, allergies, favorite treats, if they have sensitive stomachs, or if they are fully vaccinated! I also have a car that has pet covers on the seat because of my fur baby who loves car rides. I will ask what your pets schedule looks like such as feeding times, and bathroom breaks.
