About: Growing up I was never without a pet. We always had cats and dogs. I have helped care for pets since I was a little girl and often watched animals for family friends. I had my very first dog at 18 who turned out to be deaf. Taking care of him was not easy but so worth all the love we shared. Sadly he passed away from Cancer in 2013. About: My pet care experience began when I was a young child. My parents have always had at least five pets that I helped train and take care of while growing up. After we moved to a farm, they adopted more pets (dogs, cats, chickens, etc.); which allowed me to have more responsibilities and experiences taking care of animals. In college, I adopted my dog and had her for over 13 years. Sadly, she passed from old age and I have not adopted another pet since. I currently have a full-time job, but it does not involve animals. Now, we share both and have also welcomed a very shy cat into our family. I have experience caring for puppies all the way up to senior dogs. Baylor, for instance, was just 3 weeks old when I found her in a box, and now she's a healthy senior pup. About: I am the perfect boarding option if you're looking to get away. I’m currently working a hybrid arrangement so I am home Mondays and Fridays. We’re typically here most weekends but do go out of town every now and then, so just keep an eye on my calendar and I will do my best to keep it updated. I have been around dogs my entire life and can't imagine my life without one (or two)! They are an extension of my family and are treated as such. Rest-assured, your dogs will be loved here and get to play with our 12 year old Terrier and our 7 year old Austrian Pinscher. I do allow pets on furniture and to sleep in our bed if that's what they're used to. If your dog plays well with others they will fit in perfectly here! We treat your dog(s) like our own. They’re allowed on our furniture and can sleep in it beds if that’s what they’re used to.
