About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. About: I have had dogs in my home for almost my whole life. I have a pug, golden retriever, and a mutt that are all a couple years apart in age. For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! I have experience with both puppies and elderly dog as well as cats, reptiles, birds, and farm animals. I also am open to limited contact boarding for people reacting dogs and can do crate rotation for dog reactive dogs away from mine. About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have four dogs of my own, so caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My job includes supervising playgroups, feeding, giving medications, monitoring behavior, and making sure every dog is safe and happy. Working with so many different dogs has taught me how important it is to treat every pet as an individual. I’m also very comfortable caring for cats. Whether your cat is outgoing and social or prefers their own space. I recently graduated high school and will be attending JCCC this fall to start my pre veterinary studies. My goal is to become a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 years old and helps me with pet sitting. He absolutely loves animals and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from the time he was a puppy and did an amazing job with him. He also grew up with several cats, so he’s very comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to be upfront that he may accompany me on visits or overnight stays. We’re both huge animal lovers and enjoy spending time with pets! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. About: I have been working for a dog boarding and daycare facility for about a year and a half now! I have learned lots about dog behavior and how to interact with lots of different personalities- and I am still learning every day! I have experience in administering medications and would love to meet your pup! I currently work full-time caring for pets at a daycare facility, typically working either 6-1 or 1-7 Tuesday through Saturday. Fully available on Sunday and Monday! About: I have had dogs since I was born and have taken care of them my entire life! I am a big dog lover and have 25 years of experience raising, feeding, house training, caring for, and loving on my pups (and every dog I encounter!!!) I am currently about to graduate law school in May and then will be studying for the bar exam Monday-Friday full time. So I will be home all-day, everyday during the week with the ability to take dogs on walks, potty breaks, go outside to play, etc. at any point in the day!! I live in an apartment and all of my neighbors have pups to keep your dogs company! There is a fenced-in dog park literally outside my window and I also have a porch that a dog can sit out on! My community is very dog-friendly! I do not have a crate, but if your dog is kennel trained then I can accommodate that if needed! I would prefer the pup to be potty trained and gets along with other dogs also. Other than that, I am pretty flexible as long as the dog is friendly!!
About: I've had dogs my entirely life and I can confidently say they are my favorite animal. Throughout my life I have been heavily involved with different types of animal care, such as volunteering at the humane society and pet sitting for friends and family. I have experience taking care of dogs with various illnesses, and I have also cared for and had puppies. About: In my day job I am a home health/ Hospice assistant so I not only have experience taking care of people I also take care of people's fur babies when they are unable to. I also grew up with dogs so there is not a day that goes by in 25 years I have not taken care of a furry friend I currently work monday through friday 730am to 330 pm so afternoons and weekends are when I am most avaliable, and over nights as needed. I have vast knowledge of walking safety, leash control/safety, environmental triggers, and the importance of hydration and rest. About: I have always been known to my parents friends and neighbors and the person to call if you need help watching your animal. I’ve been pet sitting dogs specifically for just over 4 years but before that I watched everything from cats, to fish, and hamsters. I’ve dealt with numerous dogs suffering from seizures along with many recovering from surgery’s so I know how to handle almost everything. I’m currently a college student. I have some Morning commitments however I can be home with your pet for most of the day, or stop by at any point during the day to walk or let them out. I have an english golden retriever myself so there is another dog within my house, however he’s very friendly with other dogs. We don’t use a crate in our house and the dogs are allowed on the furniture but I’m happy to follow whatever you prefer for your own animal.
About: I have taken care of dogs within my family, friends of the family. I take daily walks with all 3 of mine each day, make sure to keep track of their health. I enjoy taking dogs places like the park, I have realized a dogs best therapy is being outdoors where they truly can be themselves. I am currently a student at the University of Kansas and summer is here. It will definitely fit into my schedule now since I have a lot more availability and flexibility. I make sure that they are on a schedule, fed certain times a day, with certain measurements, make sure that they have what they need at all times. About: I grew up taking care of puppies and rescues with my mom, and then moved into helping at a shelter while I was in college. As a grad student and current renter, I can’t have pets of my own so am glad to have the chance to get some cuddles in with yours. I have a soft spot for older dogs in particular and am also happy to look after any plants. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: I have taken care of dogs for the majority of my life. I’ve grown up with them in many parts of my family and i’ve also taken care of family-friends animals when needed! I have no problems with providing animals with the care they deserve! I am currently working full time as a Waitress/Bartender! I have three dogs of my own that I take care of during my off time!
