“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. About: From the time I was a little girl growing up in the country, pets and especially dogs have been a part of my life. I’m finally to a point in my life I can expand the love I have for pets and help others at the same time. What a great combo. I have one lab in my home that has my heart and love when other “friends” come over to play. I also understand the anxiety that goes with leaving a pet. Snapping pics and a text can help ease those feelings. And don’t worry, there’s an extra bed for naps and night time if your baby is used to sleeping with someone. The backyard is fenced and a dog door in place. I’ve also had experience with administering medications. I’m newly retired and also have a side gig baking business so I have spare time and availability. My lab is your classic laid back, loves everyone dog. New friends welcome! I have a fenced in yard with a dog door and willing to train if needed. They catch on so quick! My pets are like my kids, they get attention annd we play during the day and then at night, they can sleep where they want. We are still working on training for some fun tricks too. About: I've been a volunteer at Caring Hands Humane Society for 4+ years, and in January of 2022 I raised a litter of 6 Pomsky puppies! I have a 4+ year old orange Siberian Husky, and I've grown up with a couple family dogs, so I've always been around animals and want to pursue an animal related career! I'm currently working a part time job, and I would love to take your dog for a walk, play with them, or simply keep them company while you're away! I'm available 9am - 9pm Mon, Wed, Thu, but am somewhat flexible on weekends for house sitting. I have a fenced backyard and 2 energetic Siberian Huskies that are very friendly and play well with new dogs; I take them to the Newton dog park often and they absolutely love it! About: Experienced Pet Caretaker: From Puppies' Playtime to Senior Pill Prowess! I have cared for many puppies, as well as our Seniors. I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I run my own massage business for in home massage. I am only working three days a week for a few hours at a time. Taking care of the pets is really easy with my schedule! I can carve out as much time as they might need in my day. I aim to keep there routine as normal as possible. I am very flexible in making sure I can do that! I personally feed my own dogs two times per day (morning and night). I have crated my dogs at night for many years, but that is because they love their space. I don't mind having the animals out and about if that is what they prefer! I love to take my own animals on several walks per day, especially with apartment living! We can do anything from short walks to long hikes. I also have had to give my own dogs medications and am no stranger to senior care.

About: I have always had dogs in my life. Growing up, I had two chocolate labs, and I now have my own three furry friends. My boyfriend and I consider our dogs to be a part of the family and treat them as such! They go everywhere we do, and we love taking them on new adventures! I work in the healthcare field, and my sister is an animal control officer so I have lots of knowledge when it comes to caring for your furry ones!! I work full time on night as a RN, but my boyfriend is home during that time! Someone will always be around with the pups:) I have a nice open home and a big fenced in backyard! About: I have taken care of pets since I can remember and love getting to know new animals personalities and playing with them. I have plenty of time to devote to your fur babies. I do mostly gig work and am home and available for most of the day. I am available to take care of pets all day almost everyday and enjoy taking care of and meeting new pets. About: I've been taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I grew up around dogs and have yet to meet one that doesn't like me. Through the years, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats; from young, crazy pups to old, sick dogs and from ornery mostly outdoor cats to snuggly kitties that want to use me as a bed. My other job is remote, so my schedule is very flexible for whatever your pet may need. Weekends or weekdays doesn't make much of a difference. I'm also a morning person, so early morning walks, feedings, etc are perfectly fine! For boarding, I have one pet friendly roommate and dog. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.
About: I grew up with large and small dogs and cats. Around 5 years ago I learned to care for an elderly mostly blind, and def dog who had seizures up until she passed. I am fairly strong so if needed I can carry animals up and down stares or just in general if needed. I work great with elderly dogs especially ones who need extra care. I do have experience administering medication orally if needed and I am very patient. Wile I’m great with older dogs I also grew up with puppies because one of our other dogs had multiple litters and we cared for them. I do online schooling and have a class every Saturday from 1 to 5. My relationship with him was one of the first things that helped steer me towards a career path of veterinary medicine/working extensively with animals. As he got older, he became very sick and we soon learned that he had cancer. I saw how the people in the veterinary field helped him, helped us, what they did and how they did it, all really struck a cord within me. Not long after I changed my school path from human nursing to animal nursing. I started school at PIMA Medical Institute in Colorado Springs, CO. in January 2014. I finished the program in December 2014 with a 3.8 GPA. When I finished school I went to work at an animal hospital in Colorado Springs. Currently I work at home as a Health and Fitness Coach, as well as my work through Rover. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family. We love to do anything outdoors. Regular hikes and trail walks with the kiddos (all 4 of them) are one of our "must-do's"! Indoors we are big PC gamers, and run a D&D campaign at our house on the weekend! I am an artist, and an avid book reader as well. What I Offer: With my schooling, training, and accumulated experience, I'm able to handle various needs that your animal friends may have. If your pup has has any special needs that he/she needs to have met, you can be rest assured that they will be taken care of. I'm able to administer medicine both orally and injected. I understand the necessity and importance for medicine to be administered on time and correctly. I am familiar with specific diets (allergy diets, the RAW diet). I am trained in Animal CPR. I am very flexible with hours, and am available both during the day and at night. When we talk about me coming to visit, we will talk about the needs of your pup , expectations, any questions that you may have to make sure that you are more than comfortable. I have a smart phone, and can be reached at any time. I am more than happy to provide pictures and/or videos, as well as updates, while I am there visiting! About: I am 28 years old and have lots of experience and love for pets of all sizes, activity levels, and care needs. I have 2 cats of my own- Princess (24yo) and Mjolnir (12yo). I've taken care of pets since I was a kid and even took the family dog (Gus) and cat (Princess) with me when I moved out on my own at 18 years old. Gus had epilepsy before he passed, so I have lots of experience with those care needs as well as finding creative ways to get a dog to take daily oral medicine. My current job is flexible hours and schedule work from home job that just requires wi-fi, so I can make time for your pets whenever they need me. About: I love all animals dearly. I have experience in raising dogs from puppies to adults. I believe animals should be loved and treated with respect. That's exactly how I will treat your pet. They will be allowed outside to go to the bathroom at least once every hour to ensure they don't go to the bathroom in the house. If the yard is not fenced, I will take them on multiple micro-walks throughout the day.(I usually walk about a half a mile and then head back but I do this once every hour.) and last but not least, I will make sure your pet has sufficient food and water. About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals from dogs to bunnies since the age of 12 and have enjoyed it so much! I am a teacher during the school year, so my summers are pretty open to live on your fur babies! I am a teacher, so my availability is a wide range in the summer. I do coach volleyball as well, so I typically work around this schedule. I have a fenced back yard and 2 fur babies who will keep your pup company! I also have two cats who love new friends as well! We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. About: From the time I was a little girl growing up in the country, pets and especially dogs have been a part of my life. I’m finally to a point in my life I can expand the love I have for pets and help others at the same time. What a great combo. I have one lab in my home that has my heart and love when other “friends” come over to play. I also understand the anxiety that goes with leaving a pet. Snapping pics and a text can help ease those feelings. And don’t worry, there’s an extra bed for naps and night time if your baby is used to sleeping with someone. The backyard is fenced and a dog door in place. I’ve also had experience with administering medications. I’m newly retired and also have a side gig baking business so I have spare time and availability. My lab is your classic laid back, loves everyone dog. New friends welcome! I have a fenced in yard with a dog door and willing to train if needed. They catch on so quick! My pets are like my kids, they get attention annd we play during the day and then at night, they can sleep where they want. We are still working on training for some fun tricks too. Most of all, make lots of time for pets, belly rubs and talking to each other.
