“This was our first experience with Rover and therefore our first experience with Sam. We just have to say we could not be more pleased. We were visiting in Hutchinson, KS and our dog Elmer stayed overnight with Sam, his roommate and Trapper, a high energy, playful and very friendly dog. The two dogs meshed well wonderfully and got “lots of exercise” and play time. This was Elmer’s first night away from us as he is a recent adoptee and apparently he didn’t seem to miss us one bit. Sam was great about sending frequent updates and pictures while hosting Elmer which really helped alleviate any concerns we had. I currently work full-time with a mix of working from home and in the office, but my office is 5 minutes from my house, and my schedule is very flexible. I have a fenced yard, one mini dachshund who loves to play and relax, and I allow dogs on the furniture. My dog and I go on frequent walks, depending on the weather, if backyard play isn't enough for your dog.

I love to play with the puppies, however, I love making sure the seniors get the cuddles and treats they desire! I have a senior in my own home and administer daily pills, multiple times per day. I also have a pitbull puppy who will run herself ragged outside while chasing balls, gardening, and just running around. She also loves hikes and walks! I have worked as a dog and catsitter for family members and friends of family, so I have a lot of experience with different pets. I have experience petsitting dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, and squirrels (for a wildlife rescue team)! I have trained my own dogs and have even done some cat training (with as much as a cat will let you train him/her)! I have a cat with special needs, so I do have experience with animals that need extra help. I have also taken care of many senior dogs and cats. Does your pet have accidents in the house? I am more than willing to clean up after whatever mess they may have made -- anything to make your furbaby comfortable! I'm currently a stay-at-home mom, so I have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule. I am mostly available on weekdays, but I can do weekends if I have enough notice. About: I've been taking care of pets for family, friends, and neighbors for years. I grew up around dogs and have yet to meet one that doesn't like me. Through the years, I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats; from young, crazy pups to old, sick dogs and from ornery mostly outdoor cats to snuggly kitties that want to use me as a bed. The dog is so cat friendly that she annoys some cats by trying to convince them to play. My yard is fenced, but there is currently a damaged section that has been covered with temporary plastic fencing. The damage will be repaired soon and until then, I don't let anyone out there without supervision. For house sitting or drop-ins, I treat your pets the way I would want mine treated. I also try to match any routines your pet might be used to, if it's eating at a certain time or always being let out at a certain time, just let me know and I'll make sure to keep things as familiar as possible for your furry friends.
