About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, but I’ve owned Cavaliers for 15 years. I’ve cared for multiple dogs (and cats) at one time. I prefer to care for dogs in your home. I can also care for fish, chickens and do general housekeeping. I reside in El Dorado, but for the last year, I have been substitute teaching in the Wichita metro area. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule at this point. I’m able to do potty runs during the day provided the distance allows it. I prefer to care for pets in my client’s home so that the dogs are used to their normal environment and routine. If needed, I can care for a single small-medium sized dog in my home, although the dog must be comfortable being on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard. Also, I am not a smoker or drinker.

About: I've been a volunteer at Caring Hands Humane Society for 4+ years, and in January of 2022 I raised a litter of 6 Pomsky puppies! I have a 4+ year old orange Siberian Husky, and I've grown up with a couple family dogs, so I've always been around animals and want to pursue an animal related career! I'm available 9am - 9pm Mon, Wed, Thu, but am somewhat flexible on weekends for house sitting. I have a fenced backyard and 2 energetic Siberian Huskies that are very friendly and play well with new dogs; I take them to the Newton dog park often and they absolutely love it! I can provide a crate for a medium - large dog if needed/requested. My dog sleeps in my room with an open crate so she can sleep in her crate or just on the floor. I have plenty chew toys, everything from tennis balls to rope toys to an assortment of squeakers!

About: I believe a tired dogs is a happy dog. I love walks and playing with dogs. I will make sure he or she is happy warm and clean. I have worked with special needs dogs and excited puppies. I can walk up to 5 pups at a time from great Danes to yorkies. I can take dogs to dog park or the nearest park to make sure they get the most of the visit. About: I have a bachelors degree in animal science which included classes on animal care and husbandry! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, shadowed veterinarians, and have been a dog owner my entire life. I have a senior dog myself so I am happy to offer all of the extra TLC your pet may need. I also used to compete with my dog in obedience and agility so I am well versed in dog training! I am a stay at home mom and farmer so I am always around the house and farm. This allows me to treat your pet like one of my own! They will get LOTS of love through out the day and plenty of potty breaks! My pets are treated as part of our family and yours would be too! We rarely use kennels unless requested/necessary. We love to go on family walks in the country and say hello to our cows! Our dogs are usually inside hanging out with us and only have to go outside if they want to!

Im great with puppies and training them, also with seniors, comfy setting I’m currently self-employed employed and your fur babies will have my full attention 24/7. About: I lost my girl in late 2024. Pet sitting for others has really helped my heart to heal. I have always had a dog in my life but I am not yet ready to commit to my next soulmate. I work from home full-time and miss having a shadow with me. Comfortable with meds and needles, as needed. Comfortable with elderly dogs. I work full time from home, so rarely would your pet be alone. I treat your dog like I treated my own. If I run an errand, your dog runs an errand with me (as long as you approve). We might take a walk, we might Netflix and chill, we might swim in the summer, it just depends what your dog “tells” me they wanna do! We have two guinea pigs (who can be separated from other animals if needed). It’s just my husband and I and our teen daughter, who is generally the one our guest dogs sleep with! Fully fenced yard available to use with few steps. Upstairs and downstairs of house but not required to go downstairs if they don’t want to. Crate available, if they are trained or need it. I rarely see the need to use it but require crate trained dogs in case I need it. Common reasons would be during grocery delivery (to prevent escapes while door maybe open), unexpected visitors (if your dog would be uncomfortable, etc.), and such.

I have no problem giving medications - I've given insulin injections to diabetic dogs many times and understand how important it is to stick to medication schedules. I understand how pets thrive on their familiar routines and environment. I work remotely and choose my own hours, so my schedule is quite flexible! I’m a bit of a night owl naturally, so I especially love taking fur babies for evening walks, but any time I get to care for an animal is a great time :) I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, turtles, chickens, and everything in between for over ten years now, so I have experience handling almost every situation that could come about :) I’ve administered insulin via injection to dogs, fed both cats and dogs pills, cleaned up after them if there are any accidents, placed them in (and taken them out of) crates gently and calmly, and generally whatever was necessary to ensure that every pet in my care is happy and well taken care of.
