Yana kept a close eye on our boys, ensuring they were safe, happy, and well entertained while we were away. They went above and beyond, not just with daily love and playtime, but by taking them to Christmas at her family’s house! They had so much fun, and it was heartwarming to see how well they were integrated into the family’s festivities. The boys loved them, and it felt like they were part of their extended family too! Yana has a natural ability to connect with animals, and it was a huge relief to know they were in such capable hands. Thank you, Yana, for everything you did for Apollo and Hermes!”

“Kristin did an amazing job taking care of my elderly cats. She went above & beyond to make sure they ate and got meds. She was also so observant filling additional water bowls we didn't ask her to track and vacuuming up scattered cat litter. I sincerely hope she's available the next time we need a pet sitter. I would not hesitate to book her for your pet!!”

“Best cat sitter ever!! My cat Copurrnicus is both shy and extremely affectionate, he gets very sad without people around but loves to hide under the bed. It is obvious that she loves cats and that cats love her! Will definitely book again. Thank you so much!!”

Provide emotional care by spending quality time with them, offering love, and addressing any signs of anxiety or distress. Monitor their health, administer any prescribed medications, and maintain their grooming routine with regular brushing and nail trimming. Engage them with their favorite toys and activities to keep them mentally stimulated, ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-loved.

“Krystal was a wonderful perfect surprise for us! It was our first time using Rover and very last minute. We came out of state to visit our son, didn't realize my sons cats would be an issue. It reassured me. Then sent pics I didn't even know were coming and I could really then relax feeling Bear was in good hands. Absolutely recommend her 100%! Honest, patient, kind, obvious dog lover. About: I love all animals! I grew up with iguanas, hamsters, rats, cats and dogs. I feel it’s an honor to help out with the care of your scaly and furry loved ones. My hope is to provide you peace of mind while they’re in my care. I currently work from home with a flex-schedule so I am able to easily manage multiple drop-ins, walks, or whatever it is that may come up. At my own home, I have two fenced in yards. If you do not feel comfortable with your pets being around my own-they would have access to a separate yard to play in and explore. With my open schedule, many clients choose for their pets to stay in their own environment with multiple drop-ins. I want to make sure your pets and my own are happy and comfortable! Please reach out with any questions! I want to make sure you and your (pets) experience is positive and that their routine isn’t disrupted. Can’t wait to meet your family! I work from home with a flex-schedule so I have ample time for home visits, walks, and extra care. I am more than happy to work with homes that require flexibility on schedules. I have two fenced in yards with lots of room to roam and play. If your pup prefers to be solo-that won’t be an issue as they can have the freedom of their own space. I do have a home of small, senior pets so generally like to board smaller dogs in my home. With my open schedule I find that many of the families I help prefer the in-home visits to keep their pets comfortable while away. My goal is to provide you peace of mind while away from your little loved ones while also providing them with comfort, love, and care. Look forward to meeting your family!

For my in home services, I have a yard that is set up with individual fenced areas, as well as having 4.5 acres that will soon be fully fenced in! For those bigger dogs who want to be able to run and stretch their legs more.I have two of my own dogs as well, as company for those who would enjoy a playmate. We do crate all guests for bedtime and meals. This ensures everyone can eat at their own pace, and in a safe environment. Same for bedtime. While we understand that your pet may sleep loose at home, we typically have guests from multiple households. Safety is our #1 priority and we don’t want to risk an issue overnight.

About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions-we will respond promptly. I only work a few afternoons a week, and my husband gets home before me during those days, so there’s only about 3-4 hour stretches of time we would be gone during the week. Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs for as long as I can remember, watched dogs and cats for family friends and neighbors since I was 12, and throughout college cared for my friends pets when they were out of town. I am very used to the responsibility of pet care as I grew up with my own dogs and cats along with horses! I’m currently home for the summer after finishing up undergrad before I start medical school, so I have an immense amount of free time during the weeks! I’m also available select weekends if needed! In my own home, I have one dog who gets along very well with others. She is a golden doodle. My preference would be to care for pets in their own home just because I do have my own pet, and because I feel most pets are more comfortable in their own space.
About: I have been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old, which has deepened my love for our furry friends. With three dogs of my own, I understand how stressful it can be when life gets busy and you worry about getting home in time for your pup’s potty break. That’s where I come in! Whether you need someone to take your dog out for a quick potty break, provide some loving cuddles, or enjoy a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood, I am dedicated to giving your fur baby the attention and care they deserve. You can trust that I will treat your pet with the same love and respect I give my own dogs, ensuring they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I'm currently working full-time in Manhattan but am available anytime after 5PM until 7PM Monday through Thursday. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are flexible upon client request. I completely understand how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pets and home. Please know that I will treat both with the highest level of care and respect. I’m more than happy to take your dog(s) on walks, to the park, for potty breaks, and help with meals. I realize that pets can sometimes make unexpected messes, and if that happens, I will not only clean up after them but also let you know, ensuring you feel at ease and informed. Your pets’ well-being is my priority, and I’m here to support you.

“We couldn't be happier with the care Yana provided for Apollo and Hermes! From the moment we met her, it was clear that she truly cares about animals. Her communication was top-notch throughout, and we loved getting pupdates with pictures on their adventures. We highly recommend her and will definitely be asking for her help again in the future. Thank you, Yana, for everything you did for Apollo and Hermes!”

About: Hello pet parents! I am currently attending veterinary school at K-State, and I have worked within the veterinary medicine field for many years. My own pets are my pride and joy, but I enjoy the opportunity to meet new furry friends through Rover. If you need boarding services, dog walking services, or drop-in services, then I’m confident in my ability to meet your needs. I truly love working with animals, and I look forward to all the tail wags and happy meows in my future! Besides caring for my own 1.5 year old Aussiedoodle, I also care for animals as a vet tech. My job includes everything from cleaning up messes, to administer vaccinations, to simply loving on the pets in the clinic. In my home, I make sure that dogs are always leashed when outside of my apartment. All possible hazards to a pet are kept out of reach and pets have 24 hr access to water. At clients homes, I make sure to keep the home clean and tidy, as well as making sure that the pet is entertained and cared for at all times. Anytime, anywhere! If there is a schedule conflict, then I will be sure to let you know in advance. Apart from being a student, my schedule is open. I have a large backyard and two dogs who would love the opportunity to meet other doggy/cat friends. My entire family adores animals, and you can be sure that I will strive to ensure the comfort and happiness of your pet.
“Amanda was great at communicating before and during our pup's stay. Our girl was definitely well taken care of and had a lot of fun! We will look forward to having her with Amanda again in the future!”

About: I have always had pets growing up, so I learned at a young age how to care for dogs, cats, fish, and Guinea pigs. I have my own pet currently! I have a cat and her name is Willow. I take care of my cat every day, I check her food and water bowls twice a day and make time to play with her to give her a workout. I do have a cat, so if I end up taking car of your dog for the day I will most likely avoid bringing them to my home unless you tell me that they get along well with cats. I can take them for walks and to the park or for rides if they enjoy that too!
“Wonderful! Our dog Eevee enjoyed her stay and felt right at home. The owners of Hugh’s and Hounds were so friendly and did everything to make her stay great! Good communication, went above and beyond! Highly recommend and will use them again if we need to board.”
