About: Years of experience caring for foster puppies and cats and kittens up for adoption. Amateur vaccination and grooming experience for dogs. House sitting experience for 2+ weeks for both dogs and cats in multiple households. I’ve had quite a few senior dogs in my care, and I love them all. I will be available pretty much all day until the end of July, I am a first year teacher so I still have some summer vacation left. After Augus 12th, I will only be available on afternoons and weekends. I love lists that pet owners provide with do’s and dont’s, including feeding, walking, and cleaning times. Routines are important for a lot of animals, and I want to give them as much consistency as possible while you’re away. I love animals, but I always make sure to give them the space they need when we first meet because I am a new person to get used to.

About: We’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was 19 I started fostering dogs and cats as well, so I have experience with all sizes and breeds as well as dogs with special needs! I am a children's case manager, so my weekdays are usually full from 8a-4p or 9a-5p depending on the day, but I'm available for drop-ins or walks before and after work hours. We do crate all guests for bedtime and meals. This ensures everyone can eat at their own pace, and in a safe environment. Same for bedtime. While we understand that your pet may sleep loose at home, we typically have guests from multiple households. Safety is our #1 priority and we don’t want to risk an issue overnight.
About: Located on 10 acres in rural Hoyt, Kansas, Hughes & Hounds provides a spacious safe haven for your furry family members. Our set-up, previously used for dog breeding, includes two (working on three) spacious backyard pens that are the full package deal, including: big shade trees, big water bowls, a doggie igloo and free doggie treats (if you approve of course!). Please note that our dog daycare and boarding services are OUTDOOR ONLY and really for farm/outside dogs, bigger dogs, or dogs with high energy. We will accept any sized dog as long as they’re used to staying outside during the day! With two young kids in the home, we will only bring your dogs inside if the owner provides a crate and only if requested for night time (with the exception of severe weather where they would be crated indoors as well). I work a few afternoons a week, so I will be able to check on your furry pals often during their week & weekend stays with us. We are flexible and want to make sure your wishes are heard. So if you want us to play with your dogs, send you pictures, give treats - we are here for it. But if your dog prefers to not be bothered too much and is good with the essentials - we are here for that too. You tell us how we can provide the most comfortable atmosphere for your dogs. As far as experience goes, I've been a dog sitter on and off from elementary school through college and have volunteered lots of hours to our local shelter.... I love dogs and they're in good hands! :) This is a NEW and fun business adventure for our small family and we do not take it lightly! Due to this, we feel confident that we can take good care of your dog(s) while they stay here. Since we have the space we thought "why not?" when it came to the idea of dog boarding. We were not using our back 3 pens, other than allowing our dogs to roam them. There were some escape artists when the pens were originally used for breeding, so safety features include covered corners so dogs are unable to climb up and out using the corner fencing. Cement was also laid around the boundaries of the pens so digging cannot occur. If your dog likes to jump fences that would be a concern and a reason why we may not be a good fit for you. Of course, plenty of cold, fresh water will always be available to your dog(s) during their stay.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets from as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, I currently have 3, whom I love dearly. Meeting new pets and taking care of them make me extremely happy. Dropping in on doggies and cats is my job. I throughly enjoy walking, playing, and taking care of animals. It’s something I look forward to every day. About: I’ve always had no less than 2 dogs in the house growing up. I rescued 3 stray cats over the years because all animals deserve a happy home. I have lived with roommates who have has smaller dogs and puppies. My two older dogs had hips problems so often time needed assistances getting outside and going potty. I have the most experience with cats and dogs, however I have also cared for other pets like hedgehogs, chickens and snakes! I recently moved to the area and I'm currently taking a sabbatical from my full time job. I have lots of availability! I am available for drop ins and mid day potty/play breaks. About: Hi!! I’m Sarah Pingel, I’m 23, and I love animals!! I have a Siberian Husky/ Alaskan Malamute mix named Benny, he’s 4 years old and I love him with all my heart!! I cared for my sisters dog the first 3 years she had him while she was working long hours or on vacations. I ended up taking him to training and helping him understand it all and now he’s very trained!! I’ve watched a sweet old dog named Norma with a traumatic past that wouldn’t let anyone touch her but her momma. By the end of my time watching her that week she cuddled up to me!! I’ve also nurtured and cared for new born puppies and kittens until they were ready to go to good homes because their mothers passed away. There’s many more stories I could tell about the pups and kitties I’ve watched, but I’m gonna keep this short and sweet!! I can’t wait to meet your family with paws!!🐾 I work part time as a barista currently, so I’m free on weekends and then free during the week just depending on the time/day!! About: Years of experience caring for foster puppies and cats and kittens up for adoption. Amateur vaccination and grooming experience for dogs. House sitting experience for 2+ weeks for both dogs and cats in multiple households. I’ve had quite a few senior dogs in my care, and I love them all. I will be available pretty much all day until the end of July, I am a first year teacher so I still have some summer vacation left. After Augus 12th, I will only be available on afternoons and weekends. I love lists that pet owners provide with do’s and dont’s, including feeding, walking, and cleaning times. Routines are important for a lot of animals, and I want to give them as much consistency as possible while you’re away. I love animals, but I always make sure to give them the space they need when we first meet because I am a new person to get used to.
