I train all of my own pets and am able to handle large dogs, difficult leash walkers, and provide mentally stimulating activities. I work 5 minutes from home. On week days I go home for my lunch to care for the animals in my care. The animals will only have to go up to 4 hours during the day without interaction. During this time they will be supervised via a monitor in the room. We are a multi pet home. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, and even chickens. We love animals! Your pet will have his or her own private suite in our home which includes a bed, Kennel, toys, blanket etc. We provide activities that will help mentally stimulate your pet and ease their anxiety. The upper level of our home is where your pet will be housed, away from the other animals to prevent any conflicts that may occur and reduce any anxiety that may come with unfamiliar animals. About: I grew up on a farm and I have experience dealing with all kinds of animals, and it's a passion of mine to love and take care of animals. For extra money in high school, I would dog sit for family friends while they were on vacation, and I still dog/cat sit for my friends and family occasionally. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. About: I’ve had pets since, forever! When I was younger 3 of our dogs had puppies at the same time & then we had 27 dogs to care for! I personally had a yorkie for 8 years. I have so much patience and love for animals and they are much more than animals & pets to me. As much as they are here for us, we reciprocate that love with care, respect, responsibility, structure, attention, and so much more. I’ve felt that my dog was like a child to me, and I know that’s the same for others so there’s so much responsibility in caring for others animals and is no small thing when it comes to looking after them. Since then, I have had three dogs on my own, and I have provided care for my friends' and families' pets while they're away. Currently: I volunteer at Missouri Pit Bull Rescue weekly, and I have had several foster dogs through them as well. I dog-sit for my neighbors regularly. I live with my husband and our dog, Bully Porter, a 5-year-old spayed female pitbull mix. I am a registered nurse of over 12 years, and I also have experience administering medications to dogs. I am the main point of contact for the medical team through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue. I typically work from home, and during which, I have time through the day to care for pups who come to our home. Sometimes, we have a foster through the rescue, and during that time, I will need to turn off daycare/boarding. In the mornings, evenings, or over my lunch break, I can take dogs on walks or do drop-in visits. I am off most weekends as well. I do ask for flexibility with drop-in times, as my schedule may change with meetings and having to go in-person, however, I do my best to be accommodating, and I stay in communication. We have a 5' hog wire fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Our female pit mix is SUPER friendly and would love to keep your dog company and play! For two years, I volunteered at a humane society where I walked and cared for dogs of all kinds. Senior, puppy, sick, I have a lot of experience and I would love to get more! I’m currently working at a golf course near Forest Lake. My schedule for work comes out weekly, so I’m unaware what my weeks look like well in advance. I don’t like to do this, but if your pups are able to be home for about 6-8, then this would be a great fit! Obviously I wouldn’t work every day of the week, so I will be available to give them my full attention. Your pups are my priority and I wouldn’t want them to feel uncomfortable with my wack work schedule in any way. My shifts will either be 6-2 or 2-9, or shorter. I prioritize respect for your space and routines. Whether your pet prefers potty breaks in a fenced yard or leashed walks, I’ll follow your preferences to keep them comfortable and safe.

About: I have owned pets since I was very young and I became more responsible with helping take care of our pets around the age 10 or 11. I have given bathes, walks, baby sat, and clipped nails for friends and family. I also work hard to train my babies on commands. They are usually very well behaved but they are both still quite young and get so overwhelmed with excitement when meeting new people and/or dogs. I also know how to administer puppy shots and give pills/capsules. Many people trust me to watch after their beloved fur babies and I hope you will feel the same way. I have a part time job but I will have plenty of time to check on the pups and give them attention and potty breaks. Weekends are typically better for boarding and all day care but I maybe able to pull it off during the week. Other wise I’m open for walks and pop ins in the afternoon and evenings. I live right next to a park where I would take you dog for some exercise and potty time and there is a dog park about 2 miles from my home. I have crates if they are needed. I have 2 roommates who love dogs. I also have 2 dogs of my own who absolutely love to make new friends with dogs and will definitely help your babies burn off some energy.
About: I grew up on a farm and I have experience dealing with all kinds of animals, and it's a passion of mine to love and take care of animals. For extra money in high school, I would dog sit for family friends while they were on vacation, and I still dog/cat sit for my friends and family occasionally. About: I’ve had dogs since I was an infant and grew to love to train dogs and have been actively caring for/training dogs for 15 years. My family has always asked me when leaving town to care for their animals and have always been happy with the care given while they were gone. Currently working part-time so I’m very free to check on/exercise your pups! About: I have had a variety of animals in my home since I was born and I love each and every one. I have taken care of puppies as well as older dogs. I’m not currently working, so I am almost always open to look after your babies! I am available all week and some weekends, just depending on the week! About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have four dogs of my own, so caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. About: I’ve had pets since, forever! When I was younger 3 of our dogs had puppies at the same time & then we had 27 dogs to care for! I personally had a yorkie for 8 years. I have so much patience and love for animals and they are much more than animals & pets to me. About: I have always had pets in the home. I believe animals are like children. I volunteer part time at prarie paws animal shelter in ottawa to share my love for pets. I train all of my own pets and am able to handle large dogs, difficult leash walkers, and provide mentally stimulating activities. I work 5 minutes from home. On week days I go home for my lunch to care for the animals in my care. The animals will only have to go up to 4 hours during the day without interaction. During this time they will be supervised via a monitor in the room. We are a multi pet home. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, and even chickens. We love animals! Your pet will have his or her own private suite in our home which includes a bed, Kennel, toys, blanket etc. We provide activities that will help mentally stimulate your pet and ease their anxiety. The upper level of our home is where your pet will be housed, away from the other animals to prevent any conflicts that may occur and reduce any anxiety that may come with unfamiliar animals. We are able to take up to 2 pets. This number is decided on the amount of private space we are able to provide your pet. 2 rooms are available.
