Bear is almost 14 years old and not interested in playing, but he got along well with Veronica’s gentle dog, who Veronica carefully introduced to him. He likes to be with people, and he was so comfortable with Veronica that he relaxed at my feet when she and I chatted, instead of pulling me out the door. Veronica was very careful to help Bear negotiate around her house, as he doesn’t see well, and she was clever in making sure he could safely go out. Bear says he would go back anytime and I can heartily recommend Veronica to care for beloved pets.”

About: I grew up in a pet loving family, we always had at least 5 fur babies! I loved having the responsibility of caring for them by myself. I would sometimes bring them over to my neighbors for play dates, I could teach them tricks and play with them all day. I am always home or going for walks, and having a pet by my side always makes my day better. My 14 year old daughter loves to assist me when caring for your pet, please let me know if that is okay. I do work full time. If the pet is staying at your house, time permitting, I will check on them before work, lunch, and spend time after work with them. I will treat every pet as if they are mine. I normally feed twice a day and go outside as often as possible; weather permitting of course. If anything seems off, I have experience and a clinic I can take them too if needed.

About: I currently work as a zookeeper and have years of wild and domestic animal experience. Working with wild animals means I have a much deeper understanding of animal husbandry, psychology, and behavior that allows me to provide better care for your pet! I'm especially comfortable around and handling large dogs due to the nature of my job. Professionally, I have cared for a variety of wild animals including large cats like lions, tigers, and leopards, dolphins, seals and sea lions, and several canid species. That being said, I'm able to provide a deeper level of personalized care. I currently work 5 days a week, usually Wednesday-Sunday. On my weekend, I'm home all day. On my workdays, I'm able to leave during lunch to provide dogs with potty breaks. There is a dog park within walking distance of my apartment that I bring my dogs to every morning and evening. I do also have a dog potty set up inside my apartment just in case a dog can't wait for me to get home. I provide this because I personally wouldn't make myself hold it, so I would never force a dog to do the same. I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.

About: I have had pets my entire life ranging from dogs to cat to reptiles to fish! I’m very experienced with it all :) I worked at 2 dog daycares, a dog training facility, and now at a vet clinic !! I absolutely love going on hikes and nature walks so if you would love your dogs or even cats to go in the outdoors I can absolutely do so ! I love photography so tons of great pics will be added, if I travel with your animal, they will be in a crate in my car for safety. Since I have worked as a dog trainer ( not yet certified ) I will be happy to work on any commands or teach them any new ones ! ❤️ (If you book doggie daycare with me, we will not be staying at my home the entire time, we will be doing socialization training, nature walks/hikes, parks things of that nature, keep that in mind but down time will still happen as that is essential to the animal) A normal day for my dogs looks like several mini training sessions throughout the day, at least one nature walk or hike, plus mental enrichment and then doing socialization/desensitization training ! After all of that they get to be satisfied and roam around the house or my land as they please :)) Going into clients homes and being able to watch their animals is a privilege and I’m willing to do a lot for the animals. If the parents tell me a set of rules I never surpass their boundaries. The owners know their pets more than anyone!

About: I have done rescue work for dogs. I actually have two dogs of my own one. I saved from the Humane Society and one I saved for a rescue who is going to be put to sleep for no reason. I am currently not working so I would be home all of the time with them. They would get all the attention in the world. We have a a fenced in backyard that they would be able to run around in and the cats would be kept inside and fed. What food daily if you please. About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly believe they deserve to be treated like family. I’ve owned dogs throughout my entire adult life and understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for them when you can’t be there. I’m a reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented person who will take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether your dog needs a walk, a potty break, some playtime, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. I currently offer dog walking, drop-in visits in your home, and boarding for one dog at a time in my home. I provide personalized, one-on-one care and will make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for during their stay. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and a detailed report after each visit or boarding stay so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is simple: when you’re not home, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Now that I’m home full-time with a flexible schedule, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and other pet care needs throughout the week, with only occasional appointments to work around. I have three dogs of my own who are a huge part of our family, and my 1-year-old daughter absolutely adores her dog sisters. She loves helping give them their daily treats and showering them with pets! Our days are already filled with lots of love for animals, and I’d love to extend that same care, attention, and affection to your pets. I can be flexible with scheduling and will always prioritize making sure your pets receive reliable, loving, and individualized care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I have a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for safe outdoor play, exercise, and exploring. My three friendly dogs are part of our family and can provide companionship for pups who enjoy furry friends, with introductions and interactions always handled carefully and supervised. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home full-time with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive, dependable care throughout the day. Whether your pup is staying in our home, joining me for walks, or receiving care in the comfort of their own home, I’ll make sure they get plenty of supervision, exercise, playtime, cuddles, and rest while sticking as closely as possible to their usual routine. I also offer drop-in visits and dog walking for local families, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and medication when needed.
