I am majoring in elementary education at Butler with almost all of my classes being online, so I have plenty of time to devote to helping other people with their furry friends :) I’ve been dog sitting family and friends’ dogs for years (now been on Rover about 2 years) and I have two of my own. (both friendly) The dog sitting jobs I have done have included 24 hour care and dosing of medications where needed. I can take up to 2 dogs at night, and 3 during the day. About: From the time I was a little girl growing up in the country, pets and especially dogs have been a part of my life. I’m finally to a point in my life I can expand the love I have for pets and help others at the same time. What a great combo. I have one lab in my home that has my heart and love when other “friends” come over to play. I also understand the anxiety that goes with leaving a pet. Snapping pics and a text can help ease those feelings. And don’t worry, there’s an extra bed for naps and night time if your baby is used to sleeping with someone. The backyard is fenced and a dog door in place. I’ve also had experience with administering medications. I’m newly retired and also have a side gig baking business so I have spare time and availability. My lab is your classic laid back, loves everyone dog. New friends welcome! I have a fenced in yard with a dog door and willing to train if needed. They catch on so quick! My pets are like my kids, they get attention annd we play during the day and then at night, they can sleep where they want. We are still working on training for some fun tricks too. Most of all, make lots of time for pets, belly rubs and talking to each other.
