“Theo's stay with Ann was as good as can be. This was Theo's first time spending time with a person he did not know. We did a meet and greet with Ann prior to boarding Theo and our meeting went well. The day we left Theo with Ann after we left she texted us about 10-15 minutes saying Theo was alrady on her lap. About: I began professionally caring for animals 10 years ago when I got a job at PetSmart as a Pet Care associate! From there, I became a kennel technician at one of the top rated veterinary clinics in Cincinnati, Animal Care Center, and after a year of working there as a kennel technician they trained me to be a veterinary technician. I then had my first son and stayed home with him and had a farm with pigs, chickens, and all kinds of wonderful animals! When I decided to rejoin the work force, of course I went back to what I love most, caring for animals. I worked at two different kennels full time and helped manage one of them. I am able to give medications to pets and I’m comfortable giving insulin shots. If you’re interested in drop-ins for medication only while you’re at work or out, I can do that! I’m available any time, just discuss with me what would work best for you. During overnight stays, I will fill out a report to return to you so you will have complete details of how your pet was while you’re away! I’m also willing to FaceTime and send pictures so you know that your pet is safe and sound. Housemates would be my loving and gentle 5 year old son and my fiancé. I have a small chihuahua myself who is very friendly with all other pets. Since I do have children, any pets staying at my home must be child friendly. I’m always available whenever you need me. I’m a stay at home mom, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. Short notice or planning months in advance? I’m here! I have two children who love pets and give them plenty of friendly attention. I also have a chihuahua who gets along with other dogs but is convinced she’s truly a cat so she doesn’t play much! Also FYI - for boardings if pickup on the last day is after noon I will ask for a day fee of $35. I’m currently unemployed due to brain surgery I had this time last year to remove a large cancerous tumor. Luckily I recovered beautifully and quickly and am still fully functional, minus a little extra forgetfulness but nothing bad at all. So I’m available all days of the week, and have all my time, attention and love to give your pet(s). I’m very experienced with dogs of all types large, small, u name it. I’m a big guy at 6’4” and about 225 lbs so I can handle em all. I’m also rather calm and quiet which I believe helps animals feel at ease around me. About: Hello! I have been a vet assistant for three years and worked at a dog daycare for three years. I have plenty of experience walking and taking care of the tiniest cats to the biggest dogs. I have experience with exotics as well. I absolutely love being around animals because they always brighten my day. I have had dogs my entire life, so I am comfortable around any dog. I would love to help take care of your animals! I’ll even add in bonus belly scratches and plenty of treats! I work full time as a vet assistant, but typically have a couple of days off throughout the week. I am hoping to take care of animals on the days I am available. Currently I am unable to host any dogs in my own household. I will only be available for walking and drop ins as of right now.
