“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, from dogs and cats to lizards and frogs, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I’m an active college student who loves being outdoors, especially hiking and long walks near the parks around me. Whether your pet wants to play, explore, or just relax with some cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel loved and cared for! My schedule is very flexible, which makes pet care easy to fit into my week. I currently work part-time as a hostess, but I’m usually available Monday through Friday throughout the day. Starting June 8, I will be in summer classes Monday-Friday 9 AM to 12 PM. I live in a spacious apartment with access to a fenced-in rooftop yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

About: I have 11 years of experience with my own dogs. Recently, my 11-year-old Great Pyrenees passed away; I had him since he was 2 months old. I learned so much from him. My second pup is a 3-year-old Havanese. We play together and train him. He loves to be outside. We are doing amazing with him. About: I have two dogs of my own, Kirby 3 years old (mix of we aren't sure) and Jerry 8 years old (Yorkshire terrier) and I have many foster dogs in and out of my home as I work with a local rescue to save dogs from the shelter and unwanted homes. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. I’ve always had animals in my household. Neighbors, family, and friends have always trusted me to watch their furry friends while they were away. I work part time at a school from august to may. I have plenty of time every day at home to watch and play with your animals. I have a large fenced in yard for my dogs at home. I live with parents so my dogs have multiple people to let them out and play when needed. In clients homes I let them out often and I am able to walk them and play with them frequently.
About: My pet care experience includes a variety of different animals such as, dogs, cats, a turtle, hamster, mouse, bunny, and fish! I have always had a strong connection with animals and caring for them in general. The passion I have for taking care of all animals is very strong and I believe they are the purest creatures we have. I also believe that animals have distinct personalities and emotions and those emotions should be paid attention to. Animals have needs just like humans have needs. Us humans have to tend to them! I feed the cats and dog every morning around 7 or 8. I let the dog out for about an hour or so before I leave for work and, clean the cats litter boxes (yes, they have separate ones) while the coffee is brewing. I make sure to spend some quality time with them before I leave. When I get home, Juno is always so excited to see me and the cats run up to me too! I’m just as excited to see them as they are to see me… I am not offering Boarding services right now because my dog and cats do not get along with other animals. I do offer house sitting services, where I start off by greeting the animals and gaining their trust. This is always the first thing I do when entering your house. I then go to the kitchen where the instructions to feed and walk them usually are. If they are not in the kitchen I usually double check my Rover app to see if there are instructions there. I make sure to close all of the blinds in the house and, lock every door if I ever need to leave during the house sitting duration.

My place is a pet friendly environment where they can fully relax & get cozy. While I don’t have a fence, I have a massive yard with a secure lead, so the dogs can get plenty of space while staying safe. Plus, they’ll get tons of attention & plenty of couch cuddles! If I’m coming to your house for a walk or a drop in, I’ll treat your space with total respect. I’ll strictly follow whatever routine you have for feeding, crating, or locking up. I'm always mindful of the little things like wiping muddy paws if it's rainy & making sure the water bowl is totally fresh before I leave. Plus, you can definitely count on lots of fun photo updates so you know exactly how great they’re doing! Whether your pet is hanging out at my place or I’m visiting yours, making sure they feel safe and comfortable is my biggest priority.

“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, from dogs and cats to lizards and frogs, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I’m an active college student who loves being outdoors, especially hiking and long walks near the parks around me. Whether your pet wants to play, explore, or just relax with some cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel loved and cared for! My schedule is very flexible, which makes pet care easy to fit into my week. I currently work part-time as a hostess, but I’m usually available Monday through Friday throughout the day. Starting June 8, I will be in summer classes Monday-Friday 9 AM to 12 PM. If you need care outside those times, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to work something out! I live in a spacious apartment with access to a fenced-in rooftop yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. I’m also close to Griffy Lake, so your dog can enjoy fun walks and outdoor adventures with me. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
