Heather was good about sending us a message and even a video showing her limp so we were aware. When we got back into town, we picked our dogs up 1 night early so we could see what was going on. They were very informative and even followed up with us to see how she was doing. Their family is very welcoming and they had nothing but good things to say about our dogs during their stay. I love that our dogs got to stay in someone’s home with other dogs and kids. It helps ease my mind that our dogs got attention just as they would in our own home. My job has multiple stretches of time off for me to care for your pets full time. However, the yard is not fenced. I have 3 litter boxes in my home that are scooped daily as well as provide privacy. I have 3 cats who are all friendly with each other and love to play. About: Growing up I lived on a farm. I had pigs, chickens, rabbits, ducks, dogs and cats. I have always had a love for animals of any kind. I’m currently a stay at home mom. With that being said I would be able to take care of your pet at any hour through out the day. I have a fenced in yard at my house because I have 2 dogs of my own. About: I’ve taken care of animals for a little over 6 years now . I first started with dog walking and realized how much I enjoy being with animals and taking care of them. I’ve watched dogs and cat for family and friends. I’d love to start caring for animals more so I can eventually turn it into a full time job. I’m currently working a full time job. I get off of work around 3:30 or 4:00 and I go in at 8:00 AM. I will mostly be watching animals after I get done with my job. About: Animal love was bred into me. My father grew up on a farm and my mother was a vet tech. I've had animals my entire life. I have been a dog breeder, a volunteer for shelters, I've worked in a pet store, I've helped operate a dog boarding facility for the past 15 1/2 years, and a dog groomer. If I am selected to sleep at the house you can expect me to actually sleep there. For every one of my client's I have always slept the night until the end. If a puppy is on site I do continue to train the basics, unless other skills are specified to be trained. I love to keep them active and happy! I spend all my free time with your fur baby! I love to give them time to play and run. I enjoy taking them for walks, or giving them a bath! For boarding, I do not have a fenced yard, but I have an electric fence along with an additional collar. About: I have dog sat since high school and have always had a positive experience with it. Your babies will be loved on and cared for like they are mine. I have a dog and a cat who are spoiled! Your animals will be cared for so you don’t have to worry while you are off, because I am just as protective over my own! About: I’m a multiple pet owner, with a love of animals and some extra time to take care of yours! I’m great with dogs, especially the big mean scary ones. They can tell right away that I just don’t get intimidated, so we always get along. I love cats, too! My goal is to always get to tummy rubs! And parrots love me for some reason, lol. About: I have always had a love for animals, especially dogs. I volunteer with ICAN to care for future service dogs, giving volunteers hosting the puppies a respite. These two-hour sessions involve introducing the puppies to new experiences, noting their reactions to activities, and getting them accustomed to human interaction. Part of the training for the Litter Sitter position requires watching a two-hour instructional video. I also took ICAN’s Foundations Class, which had several online sessions followed by two in-person training nights. This class was not required for the Litter Sitter position. Other activities include Purdue's Senior Boiler Vet Camp, which I attended in the summer of 2024. There I enjoy the exposure to the veterinary medicine field. I care for the clinic cats, making sure they are fed and keeping their area clean. I also assist the techs when requested. About: every sitter loves animals, but I really do adore animals and I love being able to just enjoy and meet new animals. My special skills with animals is to cuddle! I love making sure the fur babies are taking care of with love and respect! I currently work a full time job, M-T from 7 to 5, which is the main reason of dog sitting on the weekends! I can do full weeks just need to know ahead of time to be able to discuss with work! If I am selected to sleep at the house you can expect me to actually sleep there. For every one of my client's I have always slept the night until the end. If a puppy is on site I do continue to train the basics, unless other skills are specified to be trained. I love to keep them active and happy! I spend all my free time with your fur baby! I love to give them time to play and run. I enjoy taking them for walks, or giving them a bath! For boarding, I do not have a fenced yard, but I have an electric fence along with an additional collar. If that is not acceptable to you then I will keep the dog on a regular leash during potty breaks. I have two fur babies of my own that do wonderful with new dogs, they love to play! I live in a suburban neighborhood with a perfect loop to take walks. I can also provide a large crate if needed, otherwise the pet will sleep with me. I do allow them on my bed :) For house sitting+dog, I would follow any instruction given to me! Otherwise I assume the dog is yard trained and won’t bolt across the street. If this is a concern of yours then I ask to please provide me with a leash, thank you! If you do not allow your pets on your furniture then I will continue that behavior for you.
