About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. About: We have always had pets (Mostly Dogs) growing up and have never met a dog or cat that didn't like us. We are the type of people that animals (Fur Babies) just feel at ease with. I live with my brother and father, however I am the only one mainly home. I make sure my home is a cozy, fun paradise with plenty of belly rubs and attention. About: I've grown up living with dogs and have been the primary trainer for my family's dogs. I do pretty well working with new pets and can handle full size dogs. I'm an engineer who gets home from work around 4 or 5PM. My weekends are empty 3/4 weekends a month. I can do overnights on Sunday and during the work week if your dog is used to being alone 9-5. I have a small yard, and live next to the beach. I typically walk my dog to the beach 2-3 times a day on the weekend and she swims often. I usually use a harness to walk dogs, never leave them unattended outside since I have no fence. Make sure they have food twice a day and water always full.

We don’t have children, so your pup will get plenty of attention and a calm, dog-friendly environment. He is a physical therapist and works a varied/shifting schedule, while I work just 5 minutes from home and come home during my lunch break. Because of this, our dog is never alone for more than about 4 hours during the week. On weekends, we are home most of the time and rarely leave him alone for long. This routine allows us to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day while still maintaining our normal work schedules. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. In my home, dogs have access to a fully fenced-in yard and plenty of supervised time for play, exercise, and attention. I only care for one family’s dog(s) at a time, which allows me to give them individualized attention and avoid a crowded or stressful environment. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. Someone will always be around frequently, and your dog will never be left alone for more than 4 hours. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and loving home away from home! Our dog is NOT crated, however if your dog prefers a crate/safe space, we are happy to provide that!
