“Bowser was given wonderful care for a long day at Jordan's. Bowser can be a bit reactive, but Jordan assured that she had dealt with such and her manner when I dropped him off kept him relaxed. Apparently he complained for a bit and then settled right in, getting to know a small dog and cat. I was camping at the dunes and was able to spend a day in Chicago riding the South shore in from a station not far from Jordan's. I will definitely be doing this again it went so well!”

About: I enjoy having dogs, and started using this website when I went out of town. Because of this, I know the high standard of care I expect from my sitter, and what you should expect too. I will take the time and care you would for your own dog. I'll give them snuggles, playtime, and lots of outside time depending on the crazy weather we have here of course. Myself and my doggy friends love to take walks, play tug-of-war, fetch and other games your dog enjoys or might enjoy. If your dog comes to our house we have a fully enclosed backyard. It is a great big yard enough to play fetch with a few dogs at the same time. Some just like to sun bathe and watch everyone else run around. Your dogs will have so much fun, and will be well loved while they are here. When my doggie friends come back for a visit the owners tell me the dogs are excited when they turn down my street. I have a Yorkie named Jack, and 3 mini Bernedoodles named Elenor, Dahlia, and Franklin. I am not taking unneutered or unspayed dogs at this time. I have lots of available hours to spend with your pets. My schedule is consistent usually, but fairly open. In the past, I was walking dogs. Not sure if I am going to start doing that or not. I have a fenced in yard and 4 dogs to keep your dog company. We can play in the yard or hang out in the house. I have lots of toys and balls.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. At home in Colombia, my house was full of paws: four cats, a shepherd dog, and a beagle before that. I've also pet sat for friends' dogs, including a Yorkie and a Cocker Spaniel. I have a special patience for puppies: the training, the energy, the chaos; I genuinely love it. About: Got a cavalier when kids left 20 years ago and have been in love with and taken care of pups for family and friends ever since! I work part time as a sub at a local school lunchroom. About: I've taken care of family pets (cats and dogs) for 15+ years now, and on my own I a have two cats. My schedule is flexible, though my apartment does not allow for dogs and I prefer to pets sit at the pet's home, where they are most comfortable and familiar. I do not have experience caring for pets with serious medical conditions, but I have given dogs their medication on previous jobs. I am currently only available on weekends, though as I transition out of teaching my schedule will open up. I am available for any emergencies over the holidays. My apartment does not allow for dogs, and would prefer not to test how my cats would respond to other animals as it has been just them in my apartment for a few years now. I also believe that it's best to sit for apet in their own home where I am the only thing they have to adjust to. I am fastidious about following owner directions. My cats are fairly low-maintenance, but I also have experience with high-energy dogs like boxers, and pet size does not matter.

I’ve been taking care of my own pets as well as strays and fosters for years. My work experience includes managing kennels at a vet, watching large groups of dogs at Beach for Dogs, and I was a bather at Petsmart. About: I am a veterinary assistant and I am currently trying to get into veterinary school. I have the knowledge and experience to keep your pet safe and take action should any issues arise! I currently work full-time Monday through Thursday as a veterinary assistant. I can stop by during my lunch break and after work as needed, and I am available all day Friday-Sunday! “Mary sent me many photos and texts to let me know that Benny was being well-loved by her whole family. It put me at ease to know he had so much companionship throughout the weekend. Benny appeared to enjoy his stay! Mary was flexible about drop-off/pick-up times, and the house is very easy to get to off major roads, yet is in a quiet neighborhood (and they have a fence). We will keep Mary and her family in mind the next time we are in the greater Chicago area!”

I was a little concerned at first, not sure if she could handle my 10 month old German Shepherd, Jream, but overall, she did very well even without having a fenced yard. My girls still got a full hour of playtime in a nearby fenced area where they were able to run and play ball freely. Meredith followed all my instructions, and I would definitely use her again.”
