“Jinna and Dui kept Nissy for 5 hours today as a way for them to get to know Nissy and vise versa before she stays with them for a week starting this Friday. Jinna sent pictures and a video during the stay to help alleviate my fears (we’ve never left Nissy with anyone but family before). When I picked her up, she was happy and interacting with Jinna’s dog and another dog Jinna was sitting for…which was really a wonderful surprise because Nissy usually just tries to hide from other dogs. Jinna’s house is very clean and pet friendly, she has a great back yard and she is so sweet and gentle, and is obviously very comfortable caring for other people’s pets. I can finally relax and enjoy myself when we can’t take our pup with us knowing she will be loved and well cared for by Jinna!”

About: Since a young age, I've had a passion for animals of all kinds. I've taken care of animals ranging from goldfish to bearded dragons to rabbits to doggies. About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. My partner and I both work from home and we have two dogs of our own, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I have 2 friendly, crate trained dogs who get walks 2-3 times/day. We also recently built a mini dog park in our back yard for dogs who prefer to be off leash, but also need to be supervised while outside.

About: My family has always owned a dog. Ever since I was young, my family and friends have relied on me to care for their animals, whether it be a walk, or an overnight sit. I’m a current Ball State Social Work grad student and love paying visits to the local Animal Shelter in my free time! I am a part time grad student at Ball State University, and also work part time at a daycare. I still have a lot of free time I’d like to fill throughout the week doing something I love, like taking care of animals. I am very attentive when it comes to caring for other peoples babies. Safety for myself and the pet is my number one priority. I do have a fenced in big back yard, and I also live right next to campus!

We’ve spent our lives around animals—caring for our own, helping friends and family, and volunteering with the Humane Society’s Dog Day Out program (and multiple years at SPCA Florida). We offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and in-home daycare for friendly pups who get along well with ours.
