About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. “Amanda was wonderful with my lab! My dog is a senior technically (although I won't tell him that- lol) and has multiple medications that must be administered multiple times a day. I realize it's a pain and an inconvenience when watching him but Amanda had no issue with it. This was my first time using Rover and the longest I've been away from my dog and she made the process so easy and stress-free. I loved the daily pictures and updates while I was gone-gave me a little extra comfort knowing he was being well taken care of.”
