About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. I’ve also cared for sensitive and reactive dogs who came from hard backgrounds, so I have experience taking it slow to build trust. I also care for cats as well, with experience from my own 13 year old orange cat and my mom’s two crazy kittens. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing tug of war, giving them meds, or just keeping them company, I love any time I get to spend with fur babies. I’m preparing to leave for a scholarship in Poland at the end of September after graduating with my Master’s degree in May, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am free most days and times with the exception of a few days with prior commitments throughout the summer. About: ABOUT ME: Completely insured WITH Animal Bailee Insurance and Vet Protection Coverage through PCI. I have been on and off Rover since I was in college and own my small business. Currently, I have a tuxedo kitty named, Mr. Sir. His is my laid back, street rat, expert hunter that does not like to be indoors. I have currently have a flock of 14 chickens. This is my second flock of chickens owned since 2019. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. Maple, my lab, was a diabetic for 7 years, requiring insulin injections. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. The care needed for my senior dogs helped build my knowledge on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be, just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. Other places we tried were good and the people were sweet, but our pup just wasn’t getting the quality outdoor time and exercise. About: I have 9 years experience of professional dog training. I have 3 shepherds of my own who I use as demo dogs when teaching classes! I work with dogs of all breeds and sizes (always love a challenge:)). I also do a lot of boarding, dog sitting and walking for a lot of my clients and bring my dogs to tag along for a full pack walk! I also do baths, nails, blow drying and brush outs! I currently make my own schedule as I do dog training, grooming and boarding. I am able to attend to every dog immediately and do not need to leave them alone long at all! Sundays are the only days where there will be a 4 hour gap due to church :) I have a fenced and yard with plenty of space to roam and run and I have my 3 shepherds to keep your fur baby company! I also have crates that I can use as well!
