I have experience caring for my own Goldendoodle, Ruger, and understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have previous experience watching my neighbors Basset hound and Rottweiler for weeks at a time while they were on vacation. I had to watch her while she went to the bathroom, carry her up the stairs, feed her separately from the other dogs, and pick her up when she fell. I could let pets out/ dog walk in the morning before class and I am free in the afternoons and able to stay overnight if needed. I would take into consideration my surroundings in a house before taking my eyes off the animal. I don’t plan on watching animals in my own home so I would trust that the owners provide a safe environment for their pets. I would have a meet and greet with the owner and pets prior to watching them to fully understand what the owner expects of me.
