About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I work as a nanny and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to take mostly all visits that are booked a week in advance, and I can work around later bookings! My duties at this job include walking, feeding, administering medication, and caring for the overall comfort of the dogs we board. I love dogs and have always enjoyed working with them. Because of my schedule, I have no midday conflicts and am available to stop by between 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. every day for walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, or check-ins. I have my own leads but I have experience walking dogs with harnesses and other such devices.
