About: Hello, I’m Kelsey! I have always been a MAJOR dog lover. When I was really young, I used to wish for a pet puppy each year as I blew out my birthday candles. My wish came true in 2003, and since then I have owned three wonderful dogs. In 2010, I started walking and “dog-sat” for a variety of breeds- everything from chihuahuas, dachshunds, pit bulls, & boxers! In caring for dogs at home or on walks, I feel that it’s imperative to communicate their stressors and motivators so that we can work towards keeping them calm and happy. Two of my own dogs had lived to be scruffy seniors, so I am well versed in older dog care and providing them with routine medicine. I have recent experience in the past year with house training puppies and all of the extra care that they need during this life stage as well. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. About: I’ve always had a special connection with pets. I believe in giving my pets the best life I can give. I love to train animals with positive reinforcement, love, and plenty of patience. My dog and I spend a lot of time together, and she gets love from the whole family. She is my world and my best friend. I also have some small critters that all get along with her. About: I've had dogs in the house since before I can remember, and as I got older I helped my dad train each of them. After caring for his personal dog for over a year in 2017, I found my own dog (Nola- a Golden) and trained her myself. She's now the perfect family dog, hiking partner, and home security system. My experience has led me to become a firm, fair, and consistent handler, making walks with me a calm and enjoyable treat for pups! I leave homes better than I found them and give lots of loves during drop-ins! I am trained in MWD/K9 first aid and resuscitation through the Army. I take my dog with me on long hikes with a backpack (rucks), my 2 mile run, or a slow walk at least once a week, as well as throwing the ball outside for her and/or walks around the block every day. I understand that energetic pups need a lot of exercise to avoid negative coping behaviors! My house is very pet friendly, we have two cats and my Golden Retriever, Nola. She is not allowed on furniture, but when humans get on the ground, it's super snuggle time! she gets brushed every few days and feeding times are a ritual instead of constant food being out. However, I know everyone cares for their pets differently so when I visit someone's home, I never turn down a pup in my lap for kisses and I'm comfortable giving medicines or special treatments/attention to animals who need it.

Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I grew up with many dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles in my household. I am well-versed in all animal care, but I specialize mostly with dogs, cats, and birds. Animal care is something I specialize in and am good at - your pet will be in the best hands, while you’re away! I am very knowledgeable on animal behavior and safety. I take the care of animals and public safety extremely serious. I am certified in dog CPR and bathing. I am flexible with pricing! About: I have been taking care of all kinds of pets since I was 8. I have a German Shorthaired pointer now so I can definitely handle some high energy dogs. I have many other pets including a cat, Guinea pigs, some reptiles, and fish so I am ready for anything! I am currently going to school to be a veterinarian so you can imagine how much I love pets! I have taken care of plenty of pets owned by friends and family and I am excited to have the opportunity to take care of yours! I am currently out of school for the summer so I have plenty of free time to play with, walk, feed, and watch your pets! I can’t currently board pets but I am willing to do whatever is needed for your pets in your home! Just give me instructions and I can do just about anything!
About: My family has trusted me to take care of there pets when they go on vacation. I'm the known animal lover in the family and love walking dogs. I love all kinds of dogs and i'm even love walking dogs that tend to be leash reactive. My dog is leash reactive so i'm very comfortable with handling those situations. I also love training and am very patient with puppies and senior dogs. I am currently available on the weekdays for the summer and thought I would build my pet care experience as i am going to school for a registered veterinary technician. I love dogs with all types of habits. I am a very patient person since i know what it's like to have a reactive dog or having puppies.

“Lindsay is fabulous! Margot loved her four night stay at her house. she was able to play with the dogs in her care during the day and she was extremely patient with her when she was whining at night in the beginning. I was worried that my six month doodle was going to come back matted after having five days without being brushed. I didn’t need to worry. Lindsay kept on top of the brushing (without being asked to do so). If we ever need a dog sitter in the South Bend area, we will jump at the opportunity to use Lindsay’s services again!”

Before Odie's stay, she invited me to the meet and greet so that Odie could get to know her and other members of the household.
