Our dog is old, with health problems (including incontinence), and we were so glad to find someone willing to sit him in their home. When we picked up our dog, Nicole had washed all the towels and bedding we had provided to help manage his incontinence. She went above and beyond in caring for him, and we really appreciated it. For people with younger, healthy dogs, Nicole has a large property with plenty of outdoor space. We highly recommend Nicole.”

About: I've had family dogs as long as I can remember and enjoy their company. From puppy to senior I have experience with pet needs and would love to treat your furry friend as our own! About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.

I can take them out every two hours, to go potty. I can keep them over night. I took care of a one eye cat, I took care of a blind dog. I have had dogs in diapers. We decided to not get another dog at this time, but would love to be a pet sitter for your precious pup. Both my husband and I are retired and have regular availability. One of us is home at most times. We would require to meet your pup before the stay to ensure good compatibility. We would walk your dog on a leash. Our yard is large, but not fenced. Easy access for potty breaks. We will have open access to our home unless crating is your preference.

Our dogs have dog beds all around, even though they sleep on couches and beds w us. The cats have cat towers and toys and get the free range of the house. We used to have a nanny because I wanted someone here for the kids, but also the pets. It always made me feel better knowing someone would always be there for them too.

About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment.
