My dog is not comfortable in kennels, when other sitters have that as a norm, she lets them hang out as close to her as they want, all the time. “I brought my cat over there. Mary accepted my cat on just about no notice and kept him safe for 3 days. Mary was also very proactive in sending me photos to my phone. This was a nice gesture to keep my mind at ease that my cat was safe and it was also nice just receiving cute photos of my cat from time to time. Some of the photos included my cat bathing in the sun, resting on her couch, and pretty much just enjoying a little vacation. When I came to pick up my pet, she gave me the run down on his behavior and was also very kind enough to allow me to run around her house, move furniture, and to fetch my cat. If you have a pet, you can rest assure knowing Mary can take care of him while you are away. I cannot thank you enough. Will be seeing her in the event my cat needs another hotel. :)”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always been told I have a “way with animals.” I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs before. About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. About: I have fostered over 70 animals the past four alyears. Puppies, adult dogs kittens and cats. Also bunnies and guinea pigs! I have tons of experience with house training and crate training puppies. I volunteer at our local animal shelter weekly and have developed a strong bond with the rescue community. I volunteer at the shelters on Tuesday mornings but I can always rearrange my volunteer days. My home is fenced in and I have crates for my own dogs, also extra crates for your dogs. My dogs have multiple play styles so I can adapt to just about any personality. I only ask that if your dogs are boarding in my home they are animal and kid friendly. If you're nervous about your dogs being around dogs you don't know, I understand. I can easily rotate the dogs time so they never even have to interact, as I have baby gates to keep them separated. I have a big fenced in yard so your dog will get plenty of play time. If you want boarding in your home I can do that too. I can provide plenty of love and play for them. With years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, I have handled everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention. I’m patient and love learning each dog’s quirk and routines. I work from home most days, which means your dog will get plenty of attention throughout the day. On the days I am in the office (usually Tuesday and Wednesday) I can adjust my schedule as needed to fit your pet’s routine. I live in a safe, pet friendly community in Colerain with plenty of green spaces for walks. I also love taking dogs to parks for a change of scenery or staying cozy indoors for extra belly rubs! Safety always come first. All outdoor time is fully supervised and your pup will never be off leash unless in a safely enclosed area. At my home, pups are part of the family — they can lounge, play, and get lots of attention throughout the day. I make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe, and I always supervise outdoor time. When I’m watching pets in their own home, I do my best to keep everything just how they like it. About: I love dogs and walked the same two dogs for a year. I brush them if needed and feed them if needed also. Always keep them hydrated and check on them before I leave them alone and make sure they are content. I have a lot of free time on my hands normally allowing me to work with animals for a certain amount of days a week. She knows that dogs are dogs and is understanding when they behave as such. My dog is not comfortable in kennels, when other sitters have that as a norm, she lets them hang out as close to her as they want, all the time.
