About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 6 years. I’ve also worked for a dog daycare/boarding facility where I was trained in Fear Free dog handling. Outside of official pet care experience, I grew up with three family dogs! I work as a barista tuesday-Friday 6am-12pm. My shifts are never longer than 6 hours, so accounting for travel time, I would be gone 7 hours at a time max. At my dog daycare job, I took courses on the “Fear Free” technique. Fear free techniques encompass a considerate approach, gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and creating a calm environment. Listening to the behavior cues of the pet is most important to me.

I worked at a shelter while I was in high school and the hardest for me was not bringin them all to my house. I have two dogs of my own. They’re both older girls and very very laid back and friendly.
