We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

About: Even though I love dogs, cats will always have my heart. They are amazing and often misunderstood breed. I’ve spent a great deal around them, especially in the summer looking after my aunt’s cat farm with multiple cats with different personalities. With this experience I can confidently say I’m great at reading and interpreting cat behavior. I have also administered meditation to both dogs and cats. I have zero problem cleaning litter boxes and taking care of many cats.

About: I have always had dogs in my life as pets. I have been house sitting for 10 years. My house sitting clients rely on me to exercise their dogs as well as feed and medicate their dogs. I have experience with all sizes and many breeds. I am currently working part time at a dog boarding/daycare/grooming facility and have lots of time in the evenings and afternoons for walks or drop in visits most days of the week. If you are interested in house sitting I work part time from 6:30am-11am everyday except Fridays. I would be in the home full time with your pet except for those few hours each morning. About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I am new to the area and would love to have some canine warmth in my life. Currently missing my dogs who live with my parents. One is a pure bred border terrier, Sadie, and the other is a mutt from the pound, Charlie. I moved to the area for graduate school. I have classes throughout the week and would be able to care for pets before and after classes. I have another part-time gig as a soccer trainer, which doesn't take up more than 2-3 hours a day. I live in an apartment with a dog park. There are also trails around my complex. I do not have anything like crates or cages in my unit for dogs.

About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. About: I have had both dogs and cats since a young child, multiple at a time. I have petsit for many family friends for years and am usually the go to person for them as their pets are comfortable around me. I've owned dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and birds! I work 8 hours a day, from 7am-3:30pm but I have a 30 min drive to and from work (I work in Tempe!) so my availability for drop ins is mostly during super early mornings and late afternoons/evenings. I can do drop in visits before and after work or spend the entire evening and night with them if thats what they need! I do not work Saturdays or Sundays! I try to dedicate times to play, affection, and simple presence so the pets feel at ease and comfortable in their own homes while I also catering to their needs. I am open to spending hours with your pet(s) just so they have a human to be around if needed, I absolutely do not mind hanging out with them and playing with then throughout the day.

I live in an apartment with a dog park. There are also trails around my complex. I do not have anything like crates or cages in my unit for dogs.
About: Hi! My name is Bridgette, and I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years. In addition to working for a boarding facility in the area I am the go to pet sitter for friends and family. I have extensive hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and other small animals, including senior pets and those with special needs. Through years of caring for animals I’ve developed a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and wellness. I know how to recognize signs of stress or illness, introduce pets safely to new environments, and create a calm, comfortable atmosphere for even the most anxious pets. I treat every dog like my own! I am currently very open in my schedule. I am available days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Whether it is drops ins for a walk or doing a combined dog and house sitting I am available. When I am caring for a pet I devote 100% of my energy to them, whether that be playing fetch in the yard, going for walks, or even just hanging out with them and letting them chill out. I do whatever your furry friend prefers. I do not have any animals at home right now so having an animal who doesn't like fellow pets is no problem.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

About: I have taken care of many different dogs and cats for family and friends. I always had pets growing up and I currently have 3 dogs of my own. I’m currently working part-time teaching dance to the youth between 4-9pm. This leaves my whole morning/afternoon open. I do have weekend business trips here and there but most weekends are available. I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I have a crate for any dogs that need it. As well as extra leashes and harnesses for walks.

About: I have always grew up around dogs in my home and friends, family home. My grandma used to foster dogs and she taught me a lot I know about them including but not limited to administering shots and medications. I currently work full-time. However, the dog door and fenced in yard allows your dog to be out and roam freely while I am away. I am also okay to crate your dog if that is what you would prefer. When I get home it's usually clean, play, and dinner time. As the night goes on its movies and cuddles. I have a fenced in yard and a doggy door to let your dog(s) run around outside and play during the day freely as wanted. I love to take walks in the nice weather with the dogs and play fetch out in the yard. I have an indoor camera and outdoors cameras to keep eyes when I'm not home.
About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 7 years old, caring and loving for small to large dogs, across all ages. I am a proud parent of a 11 lb Chizer and work from home, which allows me to care for your dog throughout the day. My dog gets along with all sized dogs and loves buddies to play with, so your dog will not be alone. I work full time from home and will be around your dog at all times as we never leave our own dog alone. I am able to care for your dog during the weekend as well, as schedules permit. I have a small fenced area to allow your dog to play freely off leash. I also have a huge unfenced yard to take your dog for breaks and to walk around. Food and any medication will be provided per your guidance. Please let me know if your dog has any medical issues in advance so I can care for him/her appropriately.
