About: I grew up on a small farm with a few farm animals along with a couple family dogs. I also worked at a dog boarding and training facility. While working there I gained a lot of knowledge about our fury friends. I can administer oral medicines, complete various types of meals, and watch for social cues I’m familiar with. I do not own any dogs of my own currently. My partner and I have a cat. She gets fed on a schedule, lots of playtime, and of course lots of snuggles. About: I have taken care of dogs at a very young age. My first pets were a Maltese and a Pomeranian in Hawaii. We then moved to Japan and had two beautiful Akitas. When we moved to the Philippines, my dad got into breeding German Rottweilers and I basically grew up with these incredibly loyal dogs. Throughout college I have watched various breeds and mutts of various size and age. Now, I own two German male Rottweilers. I love dogs but I enforce rules and believe in structure. Dogs (including mine) are not allowed on furniture/bed. The reason being, Dogs are “pack” animals which means they think of their human family members as pack mates. When you allow your dog on your sofa or bed, instinct tells them they are equal or above their humans in the pack hierarchy. For some dogs, this can lead to territorial behavior. This may not be a problem for smaller breeds but I have seen dogs become possessive of “their space.” I have worked with various dog trainers/handlers with K9 experience. Dogs need structure. They need to know who is in charge or else they will take the lead. Your pet with get lots of love, pets, (exercise if you like) and structure. I will also assess should they stay the night at our house if they are fit to play and be around my dogs. My dogs are highly trained and obedient. They are also crate trained to allow for separation and space. During visits, you pet will always be supervised. I am extremely particular and perhaps a bit OCD but I have seen dogs swallow toys resulting in an obstruction. My goal is for your pet to have some company while you are away and be safe! I have used Rover and have met amazing dog sitters who have done a phenomenal job caring for my boys. I would love to return that favor. Should you require drop ins and house sitting, I will follow your instructions. If your pets sleep on the bed and lay on the couch, then they will continue to do so. It is not my intention to disrupt their routine/lifestyle. In the comfort of their own home, in their space, I will do whatever it is you need for me to do 😁 I am a travel nurse. I just got back home from a contract in Chicago. Taking it easy right now as I browse for per diem needs locally. I have a fenced in back yard. I am currently doing school online, so I am available in the morning before class and anytime after 5pm during the week. Also available on weekends. I care for family and friends dogs either outside or inside their house, depending on the their request and preferences. I am willing to accommodate needs.

About: Since I was little we have always had a dog in our house! We currently have an adorable little Westie named Tilly. I am currently a college student in a Master's program and would love to help take care of your animals while I am away from mine! I have a partially fenced in backyard and right by Valparaiso University campus with lots of safe space for walking! I have been taking care of animals since I was little, so I can easily adapt to your living space! I am currently a graduate level college student at Valparaiso University! I have class from 9am-5pm M-F and am typically free on the weekends. Sometimes my schedule changes so always feel free to ask! I have a partially fenced in backyard and live near the campus of Valparaiso University. I am used to having my schedule organized, so keeping up with visits will be no problem!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I love animals and I love being active so your dog will be sufficiently walked. I’ve been entrusted to give animals medications, including shots during some of my sitting experiences, so I am familiar with that. I’ve also taken care of homeowners’ plants/yards while they’ve been away! I’ve had many friends and families re-use me for their pets! I am a salaried employee at my job, so I am available to take your dog out throughout the day. If I am gone for work, it’s only about 2-4 hours at my actually office building. About: I have a few years of experience house-sitting for dogs. During these visits, I take the dogs on walks, make sure they are fed, play with them, and provide companionship. I also am comfortable spending the night to be there for the dog at all hours. Most recently, I was a volunteer dog walker for Indy Humane, and have experience with all breeds and sizes of dogs. This is a summer job for me so I am extremely flexible! I can work at any hour and any day of the week except Sundays, but will make exceptions for multiple night stays. I care for dogs by keeping them on a leash when there is not a fenced in space. I also make sure they get adequate exercise and love while their owners are away.
About: Since I was a child I have been around dogs and cats. They are always part of the family not just a pet. All pets will be treated like they are my own and I will give them love and attention. I currently have 3 small dogs that I have raised since puppies. I also have experience with walking and sitting large dogs for family. Whether they are puppies/kittens or senior cats/dogs I will take care of them and treat them with love and care. My days are usually split up between myself and my wife taking care of our dogs. We keep them on a schedule with feedings and trying to take them out as much as possible. I am always willing to walk dogs and keep any routine or schedule needed for them. Taking care of dogs is a daily routine for me. I have 3 dachshund that I split time with my wife taking care of them. We love to take them outside and either play with them or go for walks. They are like children to us and will always see them that way. Keeping up feeding schedules and potty time is always a must to keep them full and happy.

About: I have had over 30 years around pets. People trust me with their pets and love the care and attention that I give their pets. I substitute teach and also work part-time. I am mostly around late afternoons and on the weekends. As a fitness person, taking dogs when owner likes dogs to exercise is my favorite time with the pet. I keep the space open for the pets and also have toys for them to keep active and entertained. I also play with them often so they are well cared for.
