About: My parents were pretty sure I was going to be a vet or work in a zoo! I ended doing something completely different but my love for animals is still there. I've spent a lot of time with canines, felines, rodents, reptiles, insects... and each one has been a pleasure! I believe that sharing our lives with pets makes us better people. I usually work a typical 8-5 M-F but now that traveling is getting back to normal, I have heard there is need for short term home stay, overnights and just life, that happens. Happy to help over the weekends and whenever possible. We have an energetic Jack Russell and a calm but active Lab. They have totally different personalities but they complement each other. The best care is the one that allows pets to be themselves, teaching them boundaries and "manners" in a loving way. About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little but more specifically this year when I house sat with two dogs and a cat! I have had a golden retriever and a beagle throughout my childhood. I also dog sat a blue heeler. I love taking care of dogs and I would love to take care of yours! I am experienced in administering medications of all types (oral, injectables, transdermal) and am proficient in identifying symptoms of illness. While your pet is under my care, I prioritize making sure they have fresh, clean water, clean environment, exercise, and food as needed. With my experience as a registered vet tech, I understand how each pets needs are different. I currently don’t have any pets of my own so your dog would be my sole focus. I can accommodate any feeding schedule and can accommodate any medications. Your pet will be taken out on a leash for potty breaks and won’t be left unmonitored while outside.
