I carefully screened potential candidates and settled on Adrienne as a good fit for Bear based on her profile and reviews. We were extremely pleased with Adrienne! Bear always shows a lot through his body language and he was very comfortable with Adrienne right out of the gate! I told her she's a dog whisperer! About: Animals have always been a big part of my life — I grew up around dogs, cats, and pretty much every pet in the neighborhood, so being around them just feels like home. I started pet sitting for family and friends when I was young, and it kind of grew from there through word of mouth, which honestly means the world to me. I genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that means keeping up with a high-energy pup or just sitting quietly with a pet who needs some company. About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was about 9 years old! I had a hamster growing up and we had two family dogs growing up. I have experience taking care of other people's animals as well as taking care of family pets such as my sister's dog (beagle mix) and my parent's dogs (two Chesapeake bay retrievers and a rescue hound). About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone

Currently, I have a tuxedo kitty named, Mr. Sir. His is my laid back, street rat, expert hunter that does not like to be indoors. I have currently have a flock of 14 chickens. This is my second flock of chickens owned since 2019. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. Maple, my lab, was a diabetic for 7 years, requiring insulin injections. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. The care needed for my senior dogs helped build my knowledge on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be, just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. When I picked her up, she was happy and interacting with Jinna’s dog and another dog Jinna was sitting for…which was really a wonderful surprise because Nissy usually just tries to hide from other dogs. Other places we tried were good and the people were sweet, but our pup just wasn’t getting the quality outdoor time and exercise. Our boy, Laszlo, would get stressed sometimes too with these other dogs at a crowded daycare. Dustin has been the perfect fit for us and Laszlo. We are very thankful.”

About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. I work from home and am able to do drop ins, walks, can stay in your home, or host your fur babes at our house. I don’t have human kids, only fur kids! I have a fenced in yard and have 2 dogs of my own. I have a house that has plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable and safe.
About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was about 9 years old! I had a hamster growing up and we had two family dogs growing up. I have experience taking care of other people's animals as well as taking care of family pets such as my sister's dog (beagle mix) and my parent's dogs (two Chesapeake bay retrievers and a rescue hound). I also have experience taking care of cats for family & friends! I also have experience helping take care of newborn puppies, as my stepdad breeds Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. As of right now I work full time, from 8am-5pm I am available evenings after 5pm and I am available on weekends.
