Both Joy and her husband were extremely friendly and our dogs (after the initial bark) seemed to feel comfortable around them and their dog Mollie. Joy sent us daily pictures of Lilli and Luigi and they looked content. We would definitely recommend them and hope to book with them again. I go to the gym 4 times a week, but other than that mostly home with my 3 dogs. We have a fenced in yard. Our 2 younger dogs are crated during the day if we're gone. Other than the dogs pretty much have free rein to the coach and to feel at home. Our dogs also eat on a schedule. But we can accommodate your pets needs.
About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.

“Carmelle Joy responded to our request for sitting in their home promptly. We set up a meet and greet a few days later and met at their home. Both Joy and her husband were extremely friendly and our dogs (after the initial bark) seemed to feel comfortable around them and their dog Mollie. Joy sent us daily pictures of Lilli and Luigi and they looked content. We would definitely recommend them and hope to book with them again. Their sons were very nice too, carrying our dogs belongings when we first arrived. Great experience, we felt they were in a friendly, safe home while we were gone.”
