Our dog is old, with health problems (including incontinence), and we were so glad to find someone willing to sit him in their home. When we picked up our dog, Nicole had washed all the towels and bedding we had provided to help manage his incontinence. She went above and beyond in caring for him, and we really appreciated it. For people with younger, healthy dogs, Nicole has a large property with plenty of outdoor space. We highly recommend Nicole.”

About: I love to spend time with them , I like to play with them, I like to take them to the park. I will always keep them on a leash. I can teach them some tricks, sit , stay roll over. I can take them out every two hours, to go potty. I can keep them over night. I took care of a one eye cat, I took care of a blind dog. I have had dogs in diapers. I took care of a Yorkshire, who was pregnant, she went into labor at my house, and my mom and I delivered three little babies they came out every forty minutes. About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. About: Got a cavalier when kids left 20 years ago and have been in love with and taken care of pups for family and friends ever since! I work part time as a sub at a local school lunchroom. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for dogs of all ages and sizes—whether in my home or theirs—tailoring my care based on each dog’s unique needs. Whether it's providing extra attention for senior dogs, teaching a puppy basic manners, or adapting to any special requirements, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and well-cared for. Since my Australian Shepherds don’t have a flock of sheep to herd, I’m their "job" instead! When I’m at home, they’re my loyal little shadows. They’re surprisingly chill for Aussies, but I like to think it’s because I’m an awesome dog mom... and they’re technically working most of the day as my supervisors. They make sure everything runs smoothly by reminding me if I'm even a minute late with their meals, when it’s time for potty breaks, when to wake up my son, when it’s time to play—the list goes on! I offer caring and reliable dog sitting and walking services tailored to keep your pup happy, healthy, and engaged. As a proud owner of two Australian Shepherds, I understand the importance of attention, exercise, and companionship for dogs. Whether it's a stroll around the neighborhood, a quick potty break, or some fun playtime in a safe and nurturing environment, I’ll make sure your dog feels right at home while you’re away. I provide both in-home dog sitting, so your dog can remain in the comfort of their own space, as well as dog sitting at my home for longer care needs. My dogs are friendly and enjoy making new friends, so your pup will have plenty of companionship during their stay. While I do have a crate available if needed, please note that I do not have a fenced-in yard. My dogs love off-leash play, so if your dog needs to be kept on a leash outdoors, please provide clear care instructions to ensure their safety and comfort.
About: I have taken care of all different kinds of dogs from sizes and breeds since I was a kid. Throughout my life I’ve had several dogs all types of different breeds and sizes, from a mastiff to a miniature poodle. So, I have lots experience in dealing with dogs in different ranges with breed,size, and age. I also have experience with cats, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I am working full time currently, I am off on the weekends unless and normally completely free these days. I work during the day most days. I usually work evenings one day out of the week,tuesdays. I am very flexible outside of my time with work! I currently have a dog and 3 cats. With my dog we feed him in the morning and evening, throughout the day I usually play with my dog let him out to go potty, and a couple walks throughout the day to keep them moving. I also feed my cats morning and night and play with them throughout the day and clean their litter box in the evening.
About: I have been around all sorts of animals since I was a baby. I had a German shepherd growing up. Now I own a hound mix who is very energetic and keeps me busy which I like. While I was in college I worked at my teams stable and took care of my coaches horses, chickens, and her donkey. Since I own a dog of my own, pet care is in my every day life. I am a server at Dante’s house of pizza. Even with my busy work schedule I still have plenty of time to take my own dog to the park, walk him, and play with him. I want to share my love by taking care of other peoples animals. I can ensure them that their furry friends will be safe in my care. My dog’s name is Gino and he loves being outdoors whenever we can be. He loves going on walks with other dogs. He is really happy when I take him to my friend’s house to play with their dogs. My dog is very spoiled and gets to snuggle up with me in bed. I am responsible to take him to the vet when he needs his yearly check up. I make sure he is well groomed and well fed.
About: I enjoy taking care of a variety of pets, and have helped care for many over the years. I have experience from everything as small as hamsters up to horses. I currently have dogs, cats, ferrets, and a horse. Many friends and family have relied on me for advice or to care for their pets. I’m available most days any time after 8am for pet sitting or dog walks! I can also do multiple drop in visits throughout the day! Normally at home I feed the dogs dinner, my mother does breakfast! I also take them out for walks around the yard. In your home I would do whatever is asked, and clean up any messes made.

I am currently completing an externship for school, which takes place earlier in the day. I have open availability after 2pm on weekdays and flexible availability on weekends, making it easy to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and extended care as needed. About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.
About: They call me that because once you start feeding squirrels, birds, stray cats, neighborhood dogs walking by, and maybe a raccoon & possum once or twice, like me, then you’ll start to befriend them. Soon after it’ll start to feel like animals are attracted to you (but it’s mostly because I give them food lol). I go by Janet and I love animals from feathery to furry. I have 4 birds, 7 cats and 1 turtle (all rescues). I know that with the proper care and instruction I can take care of any friend! New update from November 2025 - I’m back on Rover after a year-long hiatus and accepting new clients in the Chicago land area and northwest Indiana. 😊 My husband and I moved into a house with a spacious backyard in Lansing, Illinois. I’m open for arranging pick up and drop off as I do have a reliable transportation. Lastly, a meet and greet at my home would be ideal so your pup(s) can meet my husband, who will be there a majority of the time, and get a feel of where they will be staying. But rest assured I will be 100% responsible at all times for your pup(s) while under my care. I currently work from home. I set my own schedule, so I’m available to work whenever I am needed including mornings and weekends. Preferably daytime and Fri - Sat date night evening. I care for pets by making sure to thoroughly read care instructions and immediately contacting the owner by either call or txt if I have any questions. And most importantly by never letting them out of my sight!

Our dog is old, with health problems (including incontinence), and we were so glad to find someone willing to sit him in their home. When we picked up our dog, Nicole had washed all the towels and bedding we had provided to help manage his incontinence. She went above and beyond in caring for him, and we really appreciated it. For people with younger, healthy dogs, Nicole has a large property with plenty of outdoor space. We highly recommend Nicole.”

About: I've been surrounded by furry friends since day one! 🐶 Seriously, I can't remember a time without a doggo by my side. Thinking about all the pets I've had makes me so happy. 🥰 Anyone else feel like their pets are family? It's the best kind of love! Enjoying the freedom of open schedule currently at home full-time. So furry buddies will get Daily walks around the lake to offer a refreshing escape. Relaxing time outside under tree shade help me do some gardening🤣. Dogs will be created when I am not home. I currently own a golden retriever. She's a friendly dog. I don't have a fenced in yard my dog listens to commands. Leashes and yard leads will be used. At night dogs will be in their creates.

Theda was so kind, warm and knowledgeable. You could tell she loves animals! She has a beautiful home with an amazing screened in porch that my little pooch loved. She was able to get my finicky eater to eat too! Theda kept me updated every day with photos and videos of my girl, which helped me know she was doing well.
