“Our 3 dogs used to dread when we would pull luggage out to go anywhere, because they knew they would be going to “doggy jail”. Now that we have used Destinee for the last year, they get excited! Our dogs are our life, and it speaks for itself that when we round the corner to her house they start squirming, ready to run inside to the toy bin or a puzzle. The photos we get have become one of our favorite things to anticipate when we are away and the communication is awesome. When I sprung on her we were at last minute adding a 4th to our pack, and was hoping to update our most recent booking she didn’t blink an eye and in fact checked in on us in the weeks prior, interested in knowing how he was integrating into our family. I cannot say enough good things about Destinee and her family, they hold a special place in my and my dogs hearts!”
“Where do we even start? The experience with Brooke was nothing short of amazing. Our Golden Retriever had a terrible time at a kennel in the past, which he clearly did not enjoy. For our next vacation, we chose Brooke and Bryan, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I also have a minature golden doodle which is certified thru Alliance of Therapy Dogs of which we visit hospice patients regularly coordinated thru Main Street Hospice located in Franklin. About: I have had a dog of myself for 10+ years, and he has definitely helped me learn a lot! I’m able to easily form great relationships with any dog I have met (so far), and absolutely adore being around them and caring for them. Thanks to my experience as a dog owner, I know all there is to know of the basics of caring for dogs of all ages. My current job has me working 2-6 Monday through Friday, and 1:15-6 on Wednesdays. Since I don’t work long hours, that leaves me pretty open when it comes to pet care! Since I don’t offer boarding in my own home, I will travel to yours to care for your pet. When housesitting, I tend to hang out in the area where your pet is in the most to keep an eye on them if they need anything, and to keep them company while I’m around (if I can, I also like being on the floor so if they want to come and say hi or get some pets I’m right within their reach)! Also, I may be unfamiliar with the neighborhood, but that won’t discourage me from taking your furry friend on walks if they’re able!

About: Hi, my name is Melinda of bark and stroll. I love animals. I have my own animal and I love taking care of animals inside my home or your home. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.

About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9+ years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while your pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

They just want be loved like we do! So why not love them! I take great joy in walking with them and playing catch! Most dogs are like little humans that can't talk! But they will definitely get their point across. We will be on a schedule of eating and go outside to play and potty. My drop off and pick up times are from 6am-7:25am, 12pm-1pm and any time after 5 Monday-Friday. (can be flexible just let me know the time ahead of time) Saturday and Sunday pick up and drop off anytime. we will play and have fun. As far as eating if they have a certain eating schedule let me know and I can follow by that. Majority of my front yard is fenced. I will go outside to let your dog to use the potty. I also have a big field not far from my home for then to run and be walked around.

I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. About: I've had animals my entire life. Dogs and cats! I take care of humans in the ER, and want to take care of my preferred kind of babies (fur babies) on my days off! I'm an RN! So I am working 3-4 shifts a week which leaves plenty of time to take care of fur babies on my days off! I will take care of my clients fur babies in ways that are preferred by the client! If that's stopping in for play time, snuggles, walks, etc! I can do it all!
About: I started taking care of animals when I was eight. Since then, I have cared for guinea pigs, rabbits, a tarantula, fish, chickens, cows, and of course cats and dogs of various ages. Typically, I will set up a phone call or meet and greet before officially booking. This helps to make sure owners and I are have the same expectations and to meet your adorable pets. I am a full time college student, so my availability is flexible. I am available to check in or stay overnight with your pets. Walking is also something I love to do for exercise or a study break. I currently live in an apartment with a roommate's cat that scares easily with other animals. Therefore, I will only sit in owner homes. I look forward to having a proper place to make a loving dog a home at. When I watch pets in other homes, I like to follow whatever regimen the owner has in place. I have found animals adapt to a new person in their territory when they stick to a routine and are in a familiar place.

Our dogs are our life, and it speaks for itself that when we round the corner to her house they start squirming, ready to run inside to the toy bin or a puzzle. The photos we get have become one of our favorite things to anticipate when we are away and the communication is awesome. When I sprung on her we were at last minute adding a 4th to our pack, and was hoping to update our most recent booking she didn’t blink an eye and in fact checked in on us in the weeks prior, interested in knowing how he was integrating into our family. I cannot say enough good things about Destinee and her family, they hold a special place in my and my dogs hearts!”
“Where do we even start? The experience with Brooke was nothing short of amazing. Our Golden Retriever had a terrible time at a kennel in the past, which he clearly did not enjoy. For our next vacation, we chose Brooke and Bryan, and it turned out to be an excellent choice.
