About: Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. I began working in a dog boarding facility during my high school years and followed the animal track into my college education and became a licensed veterinary technician. I have pet sitting and veterinary working experience with dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, and horses. I worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice as a licensed veterinary technician for 4 years, then moved to an equine only veterinary practice for close to 5 years and currently at an equine veterinary practice employed as a registered veterinary technician. I have a 2 year old spayed golden retriever who travels everywhere with me as well as a 10 year old shorthair female spayed cat who enjoys her days sunbathing in the sunshine. About: Over the past two years, I’ve been responsible for caring for a Golden Retriever from puppy to adulthood. “We are a rescue that was transporting a Foxhound, pulled from a high-skill shelter in SC to our rescue in SE Minnesota. We were unable to secure a volunteer to do overnight boarding for our girl Charlene. I was apprehensive but, I did a search on Rover.com for an overnighter in the Greensburg IN area. Kayla W appeared. I asked the questions, she responded. It was a late drop-off and an early pick-up; no problem, Kayla could and did accommodate us. This woman is top-notch. About: Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. I began working in a dog boarding facility during my high school years and followed the animal track into my college education and became a licensed veterinary technician. I have pet sitting and veterinary working experience with dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, and horses. I worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice as a licensed veterinary technician for 4 years, then moved to an equine only veterinary practice for close to 5 years and currently at an equine veterinary practice employed as a registered veterinary technician. I have a 2 year old spayed golden retriever who travels everywhere with me as well as a 10 year old shorthair female spayed cat who enjoys her days sunbathing in the sunshine. I work full time as a registered veterinary technician; I typically work 4 days a week with one day off and approximately every 4th weekend at the clinic. I have availability in the evenings, days off, and most weekends. My golden girl loves to play and have company and the cat will offer her cuddles as well during in home stays. I constantly observe the pets I care for and make sure they are happy and healthy. I tailor my care for each individual; whether they enjoy multiple walks, adventures, or just want extra cuddles their happiness is my top priority.
About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a dog and a pet tortoise. I have also pet sat for friends dogs and mini pigs. I'm ready to treat your family like my family I work full time second shift at the local sheriff department as a dispatcher. My dog is not crated during this time. I do come home on my hour lunch break and let her out and play with her. I have a tie out for potty breaks and a large house to run around. Also visits to the dog park or tractor supply for a bath and some treats.
