About: I had German Shepherds, Welsh Corgis, a Jindo, and a mixed-breed dog back in Korea, and all of them were well trained. When I meet a new dog, I try to become their friend by making gentle eye contact, lowering myself to their eye level, and offering my hand while patiently waiting until they feel I am safe. I have also dealt with aggressive dogs several times, and in the end, they too became my friends. Since I work from home with flexible time during the week, I have not had my own pet yet because I felt it would be unfair to leave them alone for long hours. However, on weekends I usually dedicate time to myself through photography, driving, and hiking, and I would truly enjoy having the company of your dog or cat during those times. Taking care of a pet would naturally fit into my routine as part of those weekend activities, giving me both companionship and joy while also ensuring the pet has quality time and attention. Growing up in the country I've had a lifetime experience caring for all sorts of creatures, but mainly with those that 'woof' or 'meow.' Due to my loving nature of these four-legged animals, I've encountered many interactions and play dates with dogs of all shapes and sizes. As a former teacher, I know the importance of using a firm voice and using visual gesture cues to communicate with another kind (jk I LOVE children as well.) I don't mean to brag, but I'd like to think I was built to be a great dog walker with being 6'1 and all. Plus, who likes to RUN?! Ready, set, let's go! We currently do not have a dog of our own but we have cats and chickens. Growing up we had dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, and fish.
