“Audrey was great! She kept us updated throughout our Poodle's stay at her house. Audrey made sure we felt comfortable and reassured. She sent regular updates and photos, which put our minds at ease. Audrey's home is clean and pet-friendly, and it's clear she loves animals. We will be booking with Audrey again in the future. We recommend her services!”

“Carrie is a great dog sitter. She is my "go to" person after struggling for some time to find a reliable and trustworthy sitter in the area. Mr. Barkeley and Willie Mae enjoy their time in Carrie's home. She regularly texts me pictures and updates while I'm away--which is comforting. I highly recommend her!”
“Wow, what an incredible family! I believe we hit the jackpot by connecting with these amazing dog sitters. It is obvious how much they love animals. Our miniature poodle, Leo, was treated like royalty at their beautiful home. And it was so wonderful to see how excited their young daughters were to spend the day with Leo. We even sent a request last minute and needed them to watch him longer than planned, and they were so accommodating and kind. It was truly an amazing experience!”

“Sherri and Lee were wonderful pet sitters for our dog while we were on vacation. Miss Bonnie has significant separation anxiety from prior abuse, but they handled every issue that came up with great care and consideration for her well being. They're warm, welcoming dog-loving people who treated our little sweetie like a member of their pack. Highly recommend them!”
“Absolutely amazing! Lynelleaq took wonderful care of my dog, Jax, for six days while I was on vacation. I received daily photos and updates, which gave me complete peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. Her communication was outstanding. She kept me informed about everything, and during a tornado warning she even texted to let me know they were safely sheltering in the basement. That level of care and thoughtfulness meant so much to me. When I picked Jax up, he was happy, healthy, and clearly loved. I would not hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable sitter!”

“Buddy was boarded with Emily for a few days and she did a great job, as always! Lots of pictures of Buddy over the weekend and I didn’t have to worry at all! Thank you so much!!”
“I’ve used a lot of sitters here on Rover, and Jason is the best by a long shot! His love for animals shows in how well he takes care of them; my anxious girl LOVES Jason and knows she’s going to have a fun day every time she sees him. He’s a great communicator, and will always act in the best interest of your pet. Not to mention, I’ve gotten some of the best quality photos of my pretty girl from Jason!”

“Marissa and her husband were so great with our high-energy pups! Her dog Dewey is sweet and playful with other dogs, and they came home exhausted. They had a clean, safe home and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Surama took great care of my dogs while I was away on a family vacation. Poppy and Rem came home tired and happy! She was flexible with pickup times when my flight home got delayed. I'll be booking with Surama again in the future! You can't beat tired and happy dogs!”

“Brittany was super nice and took very good care of Dobby for us while we were away. She sent us pics to keep us updated on how he was doing. He was happy to see us when we picked him up, but also tried to go back in with her when we left to go home so I'd say that speaks for itself.”

“Thank you to Danielle and family. They all accepted my Suga with open arms and made her feel at home. Suga was happy to see me, and at the same time it was hard for her to leave. I highly recommend them and definitely will be using them in the future.”

“Emily was great at communication, drop off/pick up time was agreed upon, photos and videos were sent to me while she had our dog. I plan on reaching out to Emily on our next trip to keep our pooch again!”

“Lucas proved to be an excellent choice for keeping my playful dog for a week. He's caring, responsible, friendly and very good at keeping the doggo happy. I was impressed by how good he handled everything, even keeping me updated on how she was with adorable photos. I'll definitely be giving Lucas a shout next time I'm in Decatur with Bosco.”

“Megan was wonderful - met up with us in advance for a meet and greet, shared regular updates and pictures of Bella, and took overall good care of her, including when she got anxious and sick. She is punctual and conscientious. Megan also offers pick up and drop off, which is so convenient. I would greatly recommend!”

“Hojoo and her family were so sweet! I am so glad I chose them. Her profile was exactly what I needed for my fur baby for a quick business trip. She treated Tito like family and he didn’t want to leave! So happy to have him make new friends!”

“She clearly loves animals and I felt so good leaving Amaya in her care! I appreciated all the updates and fast communication as well. I am hoping to do another trip up there soon, and definitely would leave my dog with her again.”

“Paul did a great job with my very energetic 8month old golden retriever! He was patient with him, walked him, and he sent me pictures and updates throughout the time I was gone. Tucker came back very tired and looked happy when I picked him up :) he got along great with his other dogs! I will definitely be using Paul again next time I have to go out of town. Thank you!!”

About: I have taken care of my parents senior dog in my home while they were out of town. Helped a former coworker with her dog, also in my home, while she was out of town. I have helped a friend of mine with their senior dog + 4 cats in their home as drop in visits while they were out of town. Since starting Rover, I have had multiple in home stays with dogs, and homes that have both dogs and cats. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. My morning routine includes leaving the house by 7:00 AM to take my child to daycare or school. Before departing, all pets in my care are taken outside, fed, and provided with any necessary medications. Depending on the proximity of your home, I may be available to stop by during my lunch break to check on and care for your pet. After work, I pick up my child from daycare and can typically arrive at your home around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, dogs will be taken outside promptly and fed as needed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific care needs or scheduling. I care for pets with the same level of attention and compassion as I do my own. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, ensure they always have access to fresh water, and administer any required medications as directed. Dogs are taken outside regularly for bathroom breaks and exercise, and I make time to play and engage with them to keep them happy and active. For cats, I maintain clean litter boxes in addition to providing consistent feeding, fresh water, and attentive care. I also enjoy offering treats when permitted; my daughter especially loves helping to give treats, making it a fun and positive experience for your pet.

“So so so thankful for Beth! Having a good cat sitter is sooo important to me and she was beyond exceptional! This was my first rover experience and I have nothing but positives to say! Beth played with my 3 cats, sent multiple pictures and was very professional! I hope you will come back next time I need someone! :) thank you for everything, and giving me peace of mind while I was away! 💜💜💜”

“Mariana did a great job caring for Cosmo - taking him out for walks and to do his business. She also made sure he got his meds and followed up and got our house key back to us in a timely fashion.”

“Marissa was so helpful! I ran into a problem during my booking and she was so flexible and communicative during the process of getting everything straightened out. I’m so grateful that my cat was well-looked after while I was out of town!”

“Hannah did an excellent job! My cat can be skittish and slow to warm up to people, and it is clear that Hannah knew what to do to make her feel safe. I could tell by the pictures Hannah sent that my cat felt comfortable and trusting. My cat takes pills for asthma, and Hannah had no problem administering those. She communicated with me every day, stopping by regularly twice a day for a week, and responded to my messages immediately. I highly recommend her for her kindness, reliability, and knowledge as a vet med student, and will absolutely use her services again when I'm out of town.”

“Tessa took great care of our cat Tigger, attending to his feeding schedule and his insulin shots to maintain his health. She also sent us photos of Tigger so we could see how well he was doing with her. She stayed at our home and left it in great shape for our return. She was charming and interesting to talk to as well. You can’t go wrong with trusting her in your home!”

About: I enjoyed having cats and dogs growing up. As an adult, I have taken care of both cats and dogs for friends. I also worked/volunteered at a local shelter for years. working with puppies. old, big, little and traumatized dogs. I can run with those that want to. Additionally, I’m good at fetch and tug-of-war. I have commercial auto insurance coverage for your pet in my care. And I have uploaded a copy of my PetCare Insurance in my photos that covers potential incidents in your home, my home and in the park. I’ve given medication’s. I will follow your instructions to the letter and I don’t have an opinion. I have a lot of free time while I’m working on a book and don’t really need the money. I just would love the experience. I think the most important part is safety. PetCare Insurance for the unforeseen, but vigilance eliminates a lot of that. Pets are often curious and you need to make sure they’re not getting into harms way. When I take your dog for a walk, I won’t be on my phone because you need to be on the lookout for potential danger. I can take your dog to the park, around the neighborhood, for a drive or just stand in the yard. It’s all up to you. I will follow your instructions without opinion.
“Emily was beyond amazing with my little Frenchie! Our family is going through a loss and we needed a sitter for our first puppy. She reassured me that Millie would be in good hands, sent me plenty of pictures and definitely helped my anxiety by knowing she was being well taken care of.Emily exceeded my expectations and honestly probably won’t let anyone else but her watch my baby girl. Thank you so much Emily! ?”

“Meg was absolutely fantastic and a life saver. Coming from Chicago, We got last minute tickets to the IU/Purdue game and were then headed to Indy to see family after. Needed somewhere to put the doggy for 3-4 hours. Even though she already had 2 dogs to watch, she accommodated us with essentially a couple hours notice and took great care of tyko. Thank you so much!”

“Jo and Jess are great dog sitters! They watched my small dog, Coconut, for one day of daycare and I plan on utilizing their services again. Jo is clearly great with dogs; my pup warmed up to her almost instantly and their personal dog, Ruby, is exceptionally well-trained and friendly with both people and other dogs. I would definitely recommend Jo and Jess!”

About: Hi! I am a first year veterinary medicine student and have experience with a variety of different animals. I have worked as a veterinary technician, so I have been trained in first aid, as well as oral and injectable medication administration. I can accommodate pets of all ages, temperaments, and health conditions. I have experience working with shelter animals, and have also worked for three years training, caring for, and socializing puppies. This has provided me with the experience and knowledge to care for a variety of animals, including pets with special needs and those with reactivity and/or anxiety. Their comfort is my biggest priority, so I’m more than happy to accommodate any special requests! I am an experienced incoming veterinary student and devote my summers to pet sitting and care, so I am very flexible in terms of scheduling and accommodating your pet! I grew up with a pup who required special attention for his anxiety, so I have endless patience and experience with dogs who need a more quiet, patient approach! I also have experience walking very large, reactive, and/or high energy type dogs through my volunteering at the humane society.
About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve loved being around and tending to animals since I was a little girl. I had dogs and cats my whole life (except for right now) and have loved learning to meet their needs! I am a part-time social worker at a local non-profit organization. I am also beginning online grad school to become a therapist. With both of these commitments, I primarily work from home. My weeks are pretty flexible! I live in a home with a fenced backyard and room for pets to play and be active! I currently have no permanent pets here. I am eager to travel to homes to provide company, activity, and care to pets!
“As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous leaving our dog with a sitter, but Rebecca & Jonathan did an incredible job and quickly put our minds at ease. They were attentive, trustworthy, and took great care of our dog. We truly appreciated the experience and would absolutely book with them again! 10/10 would recommend!”

“Megan and Lois have been incredible with Milo! He's very energetic and loves to run, so I love that they have a fenced in backyard where he can run some of that energy off. He is always tired when I pick him up from daycare, which is rare for his breed :) It just shows that he's played hard, and I couldn't be happier with the care that Megan and Lois have given him at daycare. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Frank and Beans really enjoyed their time with Dhara. She kept them so active they had a lazy evening and slept the entire night! They usually get up once or twice. I will definitely have them visit Dhara again in the future. Thank you Dhara!”

About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone
About: You couldn't find someone who is more of an animal lover in all areas than me. I love and admire all types of animals, especially dogs and cats and would love and care for your pet as if they were one of my own. We live out in the country with a small fenced in yard and a fairly large 2-story house with lots of room for dog walks if on a leash outdoors and they can have the run of the house indoors! I would offer plenty of potty breaks as needed and would love to play with your pets as well. Toys would be welcome! Would love to have the chance to love and care for your pet and to meet you! Thank-you so much for your time and interest in me for this position!
“Lauren was great. She agreed to watch my two babies short notice over the new years holiday. She sent me pictures and I really felt like they were in great hands. It's a relief to know that when I am in town next time, I will have a reliable person to watch my kiddos.”

“Rocket is very clingy and timid and he has never stayed with a stranger but Karen was so kind, patient and wonderful that our little friend did just fine. If we ever need a sitter in Kokomo we will definately pick Miss Karen. ?”

About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life and have experience caring for family pets and helping friends with their dogs. I’m dependable, attentive, and committed to keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable. I enjoy being active and can provide walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I understand the importance of following owners’ instructions and will always communicate clearly and provide updates during visits. I’m currently working in the mornings until 2-4 pm and would love to spend my evenings crying for dogs who are I need. I am available during late hours during the weekdays and weekends. The safety and comfort of every pet is my top priority. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and routines. During walks and visits, I keep pets secure, use proper leash handling, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. I provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for. In a client’s home, I respect their space, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention and care.

“Megan and Lois are wonderful. I was able to have peace of mind on our vacation knowing our dog was in such good hands. Very professional, responsible, responsive, and amazing with our dog. We will be using them again for all our vacation needs.”
About: Hello! I have been a dog sitter and cat sitter for over a couple years now. I have open days in my calendar due to less work obligations. Looking to fill the time and help out while I can! I am flexible to check on your pet throughout the day. I have a more than flexible work schedule and have the transportation needed to do so. We have a great dog park in my apartment complex and a friendly neighborhood where I am always able to walk the dog(s). I love getting to play around with the dog once I get back from work.
