“Theo's stay with Ann was as good as can be. This was Theo's first time spending time with a person he did not know. We did a meet and greet with Ann prior to boarding Theo and our meeting went well. The day we left Theo with Ann after we left she texted us about 10-15 minutes saying Theo was alrady on her lap. I currently work part time at a horse boarding facility and previously worked for several years as a kennel techician. From there, I became a kennel technician at one of the top rated veterinary clinics in Cincinnati, Animal Care Center, and after a year of working there as a kennel technician they trained me to be a veterinary technician. During overnight stays, I will fill out a report to return to you so you will have complete details of how your pet was while you’re away! I’m also willing to FaceTime and send pictures so you know that your pet is safe and sound. Housemates would be my loving and gentle 5 year old son and my fiancé. I have a small chihuahua myself who is very friendly with all other pets. Since I do have children, any pets staying at my home must be child friendly. I’m always available whenever you need me. I’m a stay at home mom, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. Short notice or planning months in advance? I’m here! I have two children who love pets and give them plenty of friendly attention. I also have a chihuahua who gets along with other dogs but is convinced she’s truly a cat so she doesn’t play much! About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. As of August 2026, I finished nursing school and will be doing Rover full-time until I take my NCLEX test to officially become a licensed nurse! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old miniature schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. I'm experienced with dogs of all ages ranging from puppies to seniors. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Since graduating college, my schedule is quite literally free 24/7! As mentioned before, Rover will be my full-time job until I get to take my NCLEX and become a licensed nurse. This means your dog will have my full attention and rarely, if at all, be left alone! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

I have a park walking distance from my house that I can take dogs to run around and use the bathroom and I live in a good area for walks. I am well versed on typical dog etiquette in public around other people and animals. I have experience with all types of dogs large and small. I’m a big guy and can handle the larger breeds pretty well usually, but also caring for the little ones as well. I always prioritize the pet(s) health and safety first, and then having some fun second :). I would love to provide a safe and relaxing spot for your pet(s). Also FYI - for boardings if pickup on the last day is after noon I will ask for a day fee of $35. I’m currently unemployed due to brain surgery I had this time last year to remove a large cancerous tumor. Luckily I recovered beautifully and quickly and am still fully functional, minus a little extra forgetfulness but nothing bad at all. So I’m available all days of the week, and have all my time, attention and love to give your pet(s). I’m very experienced with dogs of all types large, small, u name it. I’m a big guy at 6’4” and about 225 lbs so I can handle em all. I’m also rather calm and quiet which I believe helps animals feel at ease around me. I’d take care of yours as if they were my own! :) I take as much precaution as I can with all animals certainly someone else’s. The animals safety and health are my number one concern when caring for someone’s loved pet(s).
About: For my entire life, I have grown up with a dog in my family home. I have experienced first hand how to care for a 2 month old puppy and a 13 year old senior dog. Since the age of 16, I have also watched family friends dogs, either doing overnight stays or routinely check-ins with the dogs. As a graduate student, I have classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On those days, your pup may be home for a few hours while I’m in class, but I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and potty breaks before I leave and as soon as I return. I’ll follow all of your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any other special care your pet needs. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel the most comfortable. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. I love cleaning and doing daily chores, so that will never be a problem for me! About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always been told I have a “way with animals.” I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs before.
