They seem super sweet but he was excited to come home; we did expect this behavior as they were willing to give him a trial 24 hours and behaved like we were never coming back. He is young and full of energy and spunk used to running free in his yard; no fence means he can not go roam around as he pleases sniffing and marking every spot he wishes. Perhaps he would rather have a sitter at the house next time. Or maybe we will train him with a collar to stay in an open yard. About: I grew up with multiple pets, we often called it the "Cook Family Zoo". I've helped take care of many cats, dogs, turtles, fish and even ferrets at one point! I currently have two dogs a terrier/cattle dog mix and a German shepherd/lab mix puppy! They both are rescues and love to cuddle. About: As a child and young adult I grew up with a family dog and cat of my own. I know what the genuine bond and love feels like between an animal and their owner having experienced it myself. In addition, when I was younger I helped out on a family farm during the summers so I do have experience being around and working with different animals. About: Welcome! We're the Phenix family—a family of six (plus our two sweet dogs!). We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun home away from home. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means visiting dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours and have plenty of opportunities to get outside. Safety is one of our top priorities. Our spacious backyard is fully fenced with a secure 4-foot wrought iron fence, giving dogs lots of room to run and play. We know some pups are talented escape artists, so our gates are secured with locks, and every guest wears an AirTag during their stay as an extra precaution—just in case we have a little Houdini on our hands! Our 2 resident pups are Athena (a Collie) and Lulu (a Beagle mix). Both are 10 years old, gentle, and experienced hosts. We've been dog sitting for over 9 years, so they're very comfortable welcoming new furry friends into our home. They're great at reading other dogs' body language and are happy to play or simply give visiting dogs their space if that's what they prefer. To keep everyone happy and healthy, all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and we only give treats and food provided by each owner to help avoid upset stomachs or dietary issues. We look forward to welcoming your pup into our family and treating them like one of our own while you're away! Our day starts with dogs being let out to go to the bathroom at 6am then breakfast. We have had some late sleepers stay with us, so we do adjust for our sleepy friends. Dogs have access to the backyard whenever they would like and we have plenty of dog toys for them to enjoy. We are happy to accommodate any feeding schedule, so we can keep your pup as close to their normal routine as possible. We have a fully fenced in yard with locks on the gates. Since we know some dogs are great at escaping, we have an air tag just in case.

About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. I currently do not have a set schedule so my schedule is pretty flexible to keep your babies company when needed even in short notice! I let them smell me each time and come to me when they are comfortable. I have no doubt they will warm up to me fast!
About: Ive taken care of cats and dogs for 3 years since I moved here and I especially love cats and i will keep them entertained I can take care of pets Monday through Saturday and will take care of them I will groom there fur and take them on walks I can walk them in the yard play with them outside feed them take them on potty breaks give them a bath if needed or just relax with them.

About: I am a state certified veterinary technician and also someone who has had a love for all animals since I was a kid. I've been helping all animals personally (and then professionally) for years...actually decades! I treat all fur-babies as I would my own. The unconditional love we receive from our pets is something I treasure and never take for granted. My schedule is quite flexible, so I can work around yours. With my state certified veterinary technician license I am able to do things that others are not. I can also tell you what may be a start of an ear infection or allergies or nothing at all! I enjoy going to dog parks, taking walks, playing fetch (or keep away haha) but also enjoy the quiet calm time while rubbing bellies and brushing hair. Also dog massages for the senior dogs helps tons with their aches and pains and I more than willing to assist. It actually puts them in a calming trance. Cats and I are a sort of soul mate (maybe it’s the name haha) but I have dealt with watching 5 cats at an owners house and 3 of the 5 had special medical needs that I was more than happy to help! They started booking me a year out ahead of time if they could!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child, but have had my 3 cats for 13 years now. I recently moved, so I let them live with my mom sadly, I do miss them. Outside of my cats, I have helped walk and care for other dogs the past few years. If you give special instructions on how you would like for me to care for your dog/cat, I will do exactly that since I will be coming to your place and/or walking them. The hours listed below are still correct 😊 I work Monday-Friday until 3:30pm, but I can also come before work, take my lunch to let your pups out for a potty break half way through my shift! I always am off on the holidays. I do have every Saturday and Sunday completely free. After 3:30pm on the weekdays I have the entire day to spend with your animals :) I will follow all your instructions you give me for caring for your animals. I will always treat them like I would my own animals!

They seem super sweet but he was excited to come home; we did expect this behavior as they were willing to give him a trial 24 hours and behaved like we were never coming back. He is young and full of energy and spunk used to running free in his yard; no fence means he can not go roam around as he pleases sniffing and marking every spot he wishes. Perhaps he would rather have a sitter at the house next time. Or maybe we will train him with a collar to stay in an open yard. I would totally book time with Destinee/Cody again if we need some help. They work as a team taking care of Blu and making our time away stress free.”

About: I have loved and cared for animals all my life. Most recently I began regularly fostering dogs with LMAS. I have fostered over a dozen dogs of all ages but I specialize with puppies. I focus on house and crate training with puppies and I enjoy multiple daily walks through my neighborhood park. I currently work from home from 9-5 and I am free on weekends. In my spare time I enjoy running and riding my bike. I believe in the more the merrier so if your pup is up to join I'm all for it! My home has a moderately sized fenced in backyard and a screened in patio that is very popular with my foster puppies. I enjoy house and crate training and I have had a lot of success through threshold training. I have a Siberian Husky and a Tabby Cat that get along with each other and they also love making new friends.
