About: I took care of and was responsible for my dad’s golden retriever for 7 years while my dad battled kidney disease. I also grew up around our family Westie & German Shepard in my home that were super attached to me. So I am very attentive to a dogs need for love and care when away from the owner. Also first time guests and last minute requests must schedule a meet and greet I use to be flexible with this but situations have happened that caused me no longer be flexible. About: I’ve lived with a dog in my household for a large portion my life, first with our rat terrier rescue when I was growing up, and then with my college roommate’s Australian shepherd that we raised from a puppy. While I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I occasionally help care for friends pets and genuinely enjoy the opportunity to live vicariously through taking care of other people’s pets. I am self-employed and set my own schedule. My weekdays and weekends are both very open and flexible for walks, potty breaks, and play time. When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! I would also love to spend time with your cats, feed them, play with them, my cats especially love the laser toy/ any hanging string! I will respect your home, whatever rules or things you typically have or want followed will be respected! I’m more than happy to ask any questions if I don’t understand something so they’ll be no missed communication! I want to make you and your furry babies as happy and as satisfied as possible! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm weekday’s and on weekends. Weekdays will typically be from 12pm-2:30, the times may change to longer hours depending on my job! Weekends: Saturday anytime throughout the day. Sunday: 4-10pm. I will take care of your pets based on your rules! If there’s a specific time you always feed your animal I will do the time asked for! When it comes to safety, safety is most important for me and your animal! I will keep your number in reach at ALL TIMES! If I notice the dogs getting aggressive i’ll try to calm the dog. If you have a fenced backyard i’ll make sure I watch your animal as they use the restroom or even just play around and keep an eye out for any signs of danger!

I worked as kennel staff at an animal hospital for over a year before I moved to Nevada, and then I worked at both and animal hospital and a grooming salon during the two years I lived there! (I have since returned to Northwest Indiana!) I took care of both cats and dogs(of all breeds and disabilities) and helped medicate and treat them! I have owned pets all my life, both cats and dogs, and have been their primary caretakers. I am heavily passionate about animals! I currently have two dogs and four cats. About: I have had animals since I was a child. I am available for evening drop ins and walks, staying the night with your babies, or night and early morning check ins. I work full time 8am to 5pm and I can drop in to check on your babies if needed. About: I've grown up living with dogs and have been the primary trainer for my family's dogs. I do pretty well working with new pets and can handle full size dogs. I'm an engineer who gets home from work around 4 or 5PM. My weekends are empty 3/4 weekends a month. I can do overnights on Sunday and during the work week if your dog is used to being alone 9-5. I have a small yard, and live next to the beach. I typically walk my dog to the beach 2-3 times a day on the weekend and she swims often. I usually use a harness to walk dogs, never leave them unattended outside since I have no fence. Make sure they have food twice a day and water always full.
