“We felt very comfortable leaving our Scottie, Finnley with Hugh. From the first contact, communication was easy and efficient. Since Finnley is selective with humans, we met with Hugh several days before leaving Finnley. There were no issues, so that indicated that Finny approved of Hugh which is important to us. Hugh sent pictures and texts of how things were going so we were well informed. We would leave Finny with Hugh again when needed.”

“We are a rescue that was transporting a Foxhound, pulled from a high-skill shelter in SC to our rescue in SE Minnesota. We were unable to secure a volunteer to do overnight boarding for our girl Charlene. I was apprehensive but, I did a search on Rover.com for an overnighter in the Greensburg IN area. Kayla W appeared. I asked the questions, she responded. It was a late drop-off and an early pick-up; no problem, Kayla could and did accommodate us. This woman is top-notch. She is professional, informational and kept us apprise of rescued girl- Charlene. We will definitely be booking with Kayla W again. Thank you for an awesome, first-time experience. Dianne”
About: I had German Shepherds, Welsh Corgis, a Jindo, and a mixed-breed dog back in Korea, and all of them were well trained. When I meet a new dog, I try to become their friend by making gentle eye contact, lowering myself to their eye level, and offering my hand while patiently waiting until they feel I am safe. I have also dealt with aggressive dogs several times, and in the end, they too became my friends. Since I work from home with flexible time during the week, I have not had my own pet yet because I felt it would be unfair to leave them alone for long hours. However, on weekends I usually dedicate time to myself through photography, driving, and hiking, and I would truly enjoy having the company of your dog or cat during those times. Taking care of a pet would naturally fit into my routine as part of those weekend activities, giving me both companionship and joy while also ensuring the pet has quality time and attention. In my home, I would care for pets as if they were my own friends—providing attention, playtime, and walks, even on rainy days, to make sure they stay active and happy. In a client’s home, I would first ask about any rules or restrictions, such as areas of the house that are off-limits, preferred snacks, daily routines, and any medical concerns. I believe following the owner’s guidance is very important to ensure the pet feels comfortable and safe in their familiar environment.
“Great sitter, Xena was in great shape and happy upon pickup. Communicated well without being overbearing. Respected my concerns and addressed them. Would recommend and use again.”

“Sasha really enjoyed her stay with Alayna and her family. I heard she was a really good dog during her stay. I will definitely ask Alayna to watch my dog again in the future. Thank you for taking good care of our fur baby! ?”

“Wonderful! Terrific communication & got the cats out of their scared of strangers mode. Worked with all their particular needs. Can't wait to use Kayla's services again! Thank you Kayla for the great care you gave our cat crew.”

About: I have so much love and passion for sweet kitties. I have had many different breeds over the years and have enjoyed each and every one. I recently rescued a 4 week old Turkish van kitten who had a critical eye infection and upper respiratory infection. After a vet visit and a couple medications for about 2 weeks. She is now 7 weeks and a healthy happy little girl! I would love to take care of your babies as well and love them like my own.
“Bryanna has been taking care of my 3 year old somewhat antisocial cat for the last 2 weeks and has been doing an amazing job! Ruby is clearly very happy and healthy from the daily photo updates that Bryanna sends. Looking forward to the next 4 weeks of Ruby staying with her!”

About: I’ve had cats my whole life, but have worked with them professionally for 3 years now. I specialize in nutrition and behavior, but also care for my own cat’s basic needs daily. I live by the motto: all pets should be treated as my own.

About: Hi, I’m Olivia :) I’ve had animals my entire life—including dogs, cats, and birds—and even grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I truly love all animals, and I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. At home I have two kitties of my own that I love dearly, Gus and Sammie. Because I love to travel myself, I know how important it is to have someone caring, dependable, and trustworthy looking after your pets. Being able to give pet parents peace of mind is exactly why I’m here. I work a hybrid job, which gives me the flexibility to work remotely on many days. Just let me know the dates you’re looking for, and I’ll be happy to check my schedule. I’m comfortable with overnight stays, drop-in visits, walks, feeding, and keeping your pets on their normal routine. Growing up babysitting taught me responsibility, patience, and compassionate care for those who depend on us, and I bring that same level of care to every pet I watch. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I also love being outdoors, so walks and playtime are always something I look forward to! I’m happy to answer any questions you may have for me!! I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or hairless 😆) family members!
About: Just a stay at home mom who also loves fur babies. I love my fur babies as if they were real human babies, and I’ll do the same with yours! I am currently a stay at home mom so I am available all day. Whether that’s for walks, midday drop in’s, or even needing someone for longer periods of time. If at my house your fur babies will be allowed on furniture. They will be treated as with respect and love. Given many lovings as needed.

About: Hello! My name is Mirte (pronounced meer‑tah), and I’ve been caring for pets professionally for several years now. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and a goofy beagle named Mylo, and I adore them both like family. That same level of love, patience, and attention is what I bring to every cat I care for. Before pursuing social work I originally planned to become a veterinary technician, so my love for animals runs deep. Cats have always held a special place in my heart. Whether your kitty is shy, social, playful, or independent, I connect in a way that feels right for them. 🐈🧶 My schedule is very flexible right now since I’ve just wrapped up my internship, and I offer everything from drop‑ins to overnight stays. I always prefer meeting in person beforehand so you and your cat feel completely at ease. I’d love to connect and support you however I can; your pet’s well‑being truly matters to me.

About: I have always loved cats and I have helped take care of my friend's cats while they were away. I will always take care of them the way I would want my own cats to be taken care of. I want to make sure you feel comfortable enough to leave your pets with me so you don't have to worry.
“Courtney was absolutely amazing with my 3 kitties! She was consistently, always communicated and sent the best photos! Made me feel so comfortable and relaxed to be away while they were cared for! Thanks Courtney!!”

“Very attentive and careful while walking my husky that hasn’t always been well behaved on a leash. He even tried working with her to reduce her pulling. Gave her all the attention she needed when she was missing her family! Would absolutely use him again and recommend him to friends and family.”

“Jasmine was absolutely wonderful with our 4-month-old puppy! She was friendly and polite, and we could tell right away that he was in great hands. She followed all of the instructions we left for her and sent us many updates throughout the day, which we really appreciated. This was our first time leaving our puppy for daycare, so we were naturally a little nervous, but Jasmine made the entire experience completely stress-free. Her communication and care gave us so much peace of mind. We would absolutely recommend Jasmine!”

“Another fun filled week for Karley at Destinees getting much needed socialization, attention and playtime. My girl is living her best life as displayed in the wonderful photos I receive after pick up. I’m so thankful she has a nice big yard to run and play in to let out that puppy energy!”

“Kristen was awesome! So sweet and no worries at all about leaving my little guy with her. She took such great care of him! If I'm in the area and need a sitter again, I will definitely reach out to her!”

“A wondering family that took excellent care of my canine. You can expect lots of walks and updates and they even had fresh toys for my dog when I arrived. I will definitely request their services again when I am in town. Thanks so much!”

“Pete comes how tired so I know he had a good time. Hey we're able to take Pete with only a days notice which I appreciate...but I usually try to plan ahead. I know Pete enjoys the big yard and lots to explore. And it is always a bonus when he is able to take a nap because he is often too excited to do so. Super easy to work with!”

About: Hi, my name is Melinda of bark and stroll. I love animals. I have my own animal and I love taking care of animals inside my home or your home. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.
“Jesica was great contacting us back when we wanted to have a day care visit for Lucky. She was very good playing with Lucky and slowly introducing him to the other dogs staying with her. She kept us informed of how he was doing and sent photos. We will definitely be using her in the future. Great job Jesica!”

About: Hi, I’m Bayley! ✨ I’m a pet lover with a 4 year old Lab and two crazy cats of my own. I also foster dogs through a local lab rescue. (I do not take clients in my home while I foster so if I’m away, this is most likely why!) I have a year of experience working at a dog board & train facility and have also spent time volunteering at animal shelters caring for cats, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities! I look forward to meeting your furry family members. ☺️ I offer drop-in visits for both cats and dogs, as well as dog walking. I recently purchased a home and have a fully fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. I work full time, but I am fully remote. My schedule is pretty flexible, so a quick drop in or walk is no problem! I am home most weekends as well. I will always treat your animal as my own while I care for them. I always have extra leashes, treats, toys, etc. on me so that they never go without. I am happy to provide and do anything for your pets as if they were my own!
About: I love pets. I had my Golden Retriever since he was 10 weeks. Now he is 7 and half. Very healthy! I take him to dog park everyday. I am full time home, so I have lots of time to play with your dog. I can walk them, play with them, take them to dog park. I have a fenced yard that your fur baby can play during in the day. My golden retriever is very friendly and happy to play with other dogs. I usually walk them twice a day besides the dog park, one in the morning and one in the evening. There would be two 1- 1 1/2 hour play time in the backyard too.

I do not have a fenced backyard so daily walks are always fun for my dog. Lots of room in the house to cage your pup if necessary (cage must be provided).

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and that lifelong experience has shaped me into a patient, attentive, and genuinely passionate caregiver. I’m not just a pet sitter—I’m someone who truly understands different personalities, needs, and stages of life. I have hands-on experience with everything from energetic puppies who need consistent training and structure to senior pets who require gentle care, medication routines, and extra comfort. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and understood, while giving you complete peace of mind when you’re away. I work a part time job with a pretty consistent schedule while also going to school online. I plan my days to make sure I can give each pet the attention, exercise, and companionship they need—whether that’s early-morning potty breaks, midday check-ins, or consistent evening routines. On a weekly basis, I dedicate time for longer walks, and special care for senior pets. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I create a calm, safe, and structured environment where they can relax and settle in comfortably. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide plenty of playtime and walks, and make sure they always have access to fresh water and cozy resting spots. I pay close attention to their routine, preferences, and any special needs—whether that’s extra potty breaks for puppies or a quiet space for senior pets.

About: I started taking care of animals when I was eight. Since then, I have cared for guinea pigs, rabbits, a tarantula, fish, chickens, cows, and of course cats and dogs of various ages. Typically, I will set up a phone call or meet and greet before officially booking. This helps to make sure owners and I are have the same expectations and to meet your adorable pets. I am a full time college student, so my availability is flexible. I am available to check in or stay overnight with your pets. Walking is also something I love to do for exercise or a study break. I look forward to having a proper place to make a loving dog a home at. When I watch pets in other homes, I like to follow whatever regimen the owner has in place. I have found animals adapt to a new person in their territory when they stick to a routine and are in a familiar place.
