About: As a child and young adult I grew up with a family dog and cat of my own. I know what the genuine bond and love feels like between an animal and their owner having experienced it myself. In addition, when I was younger I helped out on a family farm during the summers so I do have experience being around and working with different animals. I work as a teacher during the school calendar year but my schedule is completely free during our summer break. As such, I am mostly looking to provide pet care during the work week M-F but I am also willing to discuss weekend options if needed and if provided notice in advance. “Shelby was FANTASTIC with our Sherman. He was very nervous when we left him (he has separation anxiety). Not only did he seem to do well after we left (the pictures she sent us spoke volumes about his mood), but when i picked him up he was excited to see us as always but instead of running straight to the car and waiting at the door for us as he usually does when we pick him up from someone he did a couple of excited circles and had to run back to give one of Shelbys pups a kiss goodbye. He often stays with my sister and he loves her and her dogs but he never runs back to the door for any reason. He was so relaxed and clearly worn out feom playing so much. Shelby is terrific. About: I've grown up around animals my whole life and not only do I take care of animals of my own I've taken care of friends' animals as well. I have experience working with animals of all ages and sizes as I currently have 9 year old Great Danes who I've helped raise since they were puppies. About: I've had cats since before I was in elementary school. I cat sit for all of my neighbors whenever they go out of town. I currently have one cat who is 4 years old. I am currently transitioning in between jobs so I have much more free time than usual. Definitely will use them again because I have busy work weeks at times. Sherman is a bit much sometimes when he sees other dogs a bit reactive but Penny kept an eye on him and never went out without his leash and collar and made sure all dogs weren't out. He had a blast came home and ran around like a puppy again. Will definitely be using her again.”
