My childhood dog, a white Lab-Husky mix, sparked my lifelong love for animals. With years of hands-on experience, I treat every pet like family. Taking care of pets is just part of my everyday life. I’m always up early to let the dogs run around the back yard. Walks, playtime, and cuddles with my own dogs is so important. So adding another furry friend is easy. About: Our family has taken care of friends’ dogs and cats for four years or more. We are now offering our pet services to more ‘07 neighbors. During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. We have experience letting ourselves into owners’ homes while they are away to feed, walk, and let pets out for bathroom breaks. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. One of them is a unique mix of Belgian Malinois, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, and Rottweiler (Try saying that five times fast!). After raising him, it's safe to say that I'm comfortable with puppy routines, basic obedience training, and how to handle a wide range of temperaments and needs. What sets me apart is that I take the time to understand each dog's routine, personality and comfort level so they receive the best care that fits their individual needs. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: I have been involved in several volunteer groups for pets and rescue organizations. I’m sure I could help your peace of mind when you need. I’m currently working for Rover full time. I’m looking to make this a career path and I’m trying to earn more than happiness from Rover. My apartment has a private entrance and I have parks and trails to take them near me that are secure. About: I've been around dogs ever since I was a child. I rarely come across a dog that I don't like or that doesn't like me! I currently do dog sitting and walking for friends and family and would love to expand my services to others looking for high quality dog care. I work part-time so I usually have a very flexible schedule with a lot of availability. Mornings through afternoons are usually the best times . I meet the needs of the dog owner when watching dogs in a client's home. I understand that dogs can have varying needs/schedules. I feel comfortable giving dogs necessary medicines and meeting any special needs. I can go the extra mile to make sure your dog(s) are happy and safe. I've even saved a dog that fell in a pool once!
