Sheila said that she primarily takes small dogs, but that she will occasionally take a big dog like Jake (Lab), as long as the big dog is well behaved. About: Over the past two years, I’ve been responsible for caring for a Golden Retriever from puppy to adulthood. I’m familiar with maintaining routines, handling energy levels, and making sure dogs feel safe and well cared for. I am a full-time work from home employee and I’m able to care for dogs while I work. I am home and can give the attention and care your pet needs. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily fit in a walk, potty time or play time. I take that responsibility very seriously. I recently retired and would like to include in my day, caring for animals whose owners need help when they are gone from the home. I have a fenced yard, and an easy going home environment. I also have two older dogs, 4 indoor kitties, with a total of six cats. They are all pretty laid back.

I have open availability during weekdays from 8am–1pm and 3pm–8pm, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely look forward to rather than seeing as just a job. I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it allows them to stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I make it a priority to carefully follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care preferences. I also understand how important trust and communication are, so I will provide regular updates, pictures, and check-ins while owners are away so they can feel reassured that their pet is safe, loved, and well cared for.
