From there, I became a kennel technician at one of the top rated veterinary clinics in Cincinnati, Animal Care Center, and after a year of working there as a kennel technician they trained me to be a veterinary technician. I am able to give medications to pets and I’m comfortable giving insulin shots. If you’re interested in drop-ins for medication only while you’re at work or out, I can do that! I’m available any time, just discuss with me what would work best for you. During overnight stays, I will fill out a report to return to you so you will have complete details of how your pet was while you’re away! I’m also willing to FaceTime and send pictures so you know that your pet is safe and sound. Housemates would be my loving and gentle 5 year old son and my fiancé. I have a small chihuahua myself who is very friendly with all other pets. Since I do have children, any pets staying at my home must be child friendly. I’m always available whenever you need me. I’m a stay at home mom, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. Short notice or planning months in advance? I’m here! I have two children who love pets and give them plenty of friendly attention. I also have a chihuahua who gets along with other dogs but is convinced she’s truly a cat so she doesn’t play much! About: I have had 9 cats of my own. I have cared for kittens from age 2 weeks old, having to bottle feed them to senior cats who needed medication. I'm open with owners about things I find. I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. I am precise when following directions provided by the pet owner. I LOVE taking pictures of pets and will send them over every day. I have 4 cats of my own, so their care is a daily routine for me. I have a park walking distance from my house that I can take dogs to run around and use the bathroom and I live in a good area for walks. I’m a big guy and can handle the larger breeds pretty well usually, but also caring for the little ones as well. I always prioritize the pet(s) health and safety first, and then having some fun second :). I would love to provide a safe and relaxing spot for your pet(s). Also FYI - for boardings if pickup on the last day is after noon I will ask for a day fee of $35. I’m currently unemployed due to brain surgery I had this time last year to remove a large cancerous tumor. Luckily I recovered beautifully and quickly and am still fully functional, minus a little extra forgetfulness but nothing bad at all. About: I have taken care of many many dogs, from 5 senoir disabled chihauhas at once, to larger german sheapards and high and low energy dogs, untrained and trained. I take routines seriously, as I understand you are away, and I keep it together until you come back! :) I work part time in the evening as a janitor from Monday through Friday 6-10 PM, but I can be flexible; I am looking for dog walkings or weekend stays, as I am available virtually anytime before I work.
