About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. In fact, they prefer dogs over our cats!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a young child. I’ve had the pleasure also of helping my mother with foster pets and training my own dog, Roxi from a pup. My husband and I love hanging out with our fur babies by going on hikes (now short walks around the block), cozying up on the couch together. Our family includes Roxi (14 yo dog), Winnie (1 yo cat), and our elder bearded dragon, Killa (15 yo). When taking care of the pets at our home, I make sure all the animals have been fed and have full & clean water bowls. Cleaning the litter box, and making sure Winnie has wet food in the morning. I give my Roxi baths when needed and give her daily medication. When I take care of pets at a clients home, I make sure they are fed, have water and I will either play with them outside (weather permitting), go on walks, and play or cuddle inside on the couch. For dog walking: I will great your pet with love as I’m sure they’re sad your away, then let them out to play (if allowed) to stretch the legs, or directly take them out for a stroll (rain or shine) unless bad weather.
